Pros:

Piscina bella. Wi fi ok.

Cons:

Avendo letto le varie recensioni non mi sono ritrovato assolutamente. Pulizia scarsa della camera, soprattutto lenzuola, federe e salviettoni inaccettabili.

Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen, die Umgebung ist leider nicht sauber.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und schlicht eingerichtet, sauber, die Zimmer haben Holzböden und sind sehr hoch. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Es kommt auf Wunsch ein ayuvedischer Masseur, der sehr zu empfehlen ist.

Cons:

Der Strand, der direkt gegenüber des Hotels liegt, lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein, da er sehr verschmutzt ist.

Lovely relaxed overnight stay to start holiday
Pros:

Delicious home made food. Large beautiful room with ocean view. Handsome staircase and wooden floor.

Owners were away so didn’t get to meet them or do yoga.

Pros:

Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir noch weitere 5 Tage geblieben sind . Sehr freundliche Menschen, eine schöne Unterkunft, ein sauberer Pool in einem gepflegten Garten. Es wurde für uns herrlich gekocht und ein gemeinsamer Ausflug war auch möglich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Oase vor Chilaw
Pros:

Da wir mit dem Fahrrad angereist sind, war die Lage für uns optimal und lag direkt auf unserer Route. Die Zimmer waren sehr groß und komfortabel. Sehr schönes Bad . Die Terrasse vor dem Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten und auf das Meer war malerisch schön. Der Pool war absolut sauber und für uns groß genug. Wir haben uns Abends direkt dort ein typisches Landesessen bestellt, welches geschmacklich und Qualitativ sehr gut war. Ebenso das Frühstück was mit Obst und verschiedenen Rotis usw. mehr als ausreichend war. Klasse fanden wir auch, das es Wasser gekühlt gab und dieses in Glasflaschen und nicht in Plastik serviert wurde. Personal war wirklich freundlich. Wir konnten unsere Fahrräder auf die Terrasse stellen.

Très bon emplacement, arrivée tard à cause du GPS qui m'a indiqué une route côtière fermée juste avant d'arriver. Hôte suédois très sympa et ouvert. Repas au top malgré l'arrivée tardive.

Pleasant Accommodation with wonderful staff
Pros:

Lovely clean rooms and hosts are fantastic and always happy to help. The beach is beautiful and still lovely for swimming in the morning. Food was nice.

Cons:

We did chose accommodation for pool relax before leaving Sri Lanka and unfortunately one day this was being used by local Muslim family with fully dressed women swimming so was not comfortable to swim with swimsuits at the same time. Wifi is not good at this accommodation. With limited use of pool we didn’t think property was good value.

Eine Oase am Ozean
Pros:

We came as guests and left as friends...anstatt 2 Tagen blieben wir 7...wir kamen uns vor wie in einer Oase in diesen heißen Tagen - es gab einen herrlichen Pool in einem wunderschön gepflegten Garten. Und da waren da noch Elisabeth und Max, die beiden Seelen des Hauses...

We had a hectic two week tour of Sri Lanka and really appreciated spending our last two nights in peace and quiet at Spice of Ceylon. It's a beautiful little seaside hotel in a laid back fishing town - the perfect setting to relax and escape the busyness of the rest of the country.

We appreciated that they had a pool as we found the ocean a bit too rough for easy swimming.

All the food we ate there was delicious and fresh.

The hosts were lovely and helpful and their staff were all so friendly. We really enjoyed talking with them.
