Had a really nice stay at The Crown Hotel, the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure I had a wonderful visit. My room was clean, bright, and spacious. After long days exploring Exmoor National Park, the comfortable bed ensured a peaceful night’s sleep. The restaurant dishes up hearty, delicious home-cooked classics using fresh ingredients. Breakfast was equally good, perfectly fuelling my morning adventure. Situated right by the village green and the River Exe, the location is unbeatable for e-biking. It is a charming country gem, and I will definitely be returning.
I stayed with my son in separate rooms for one night only sadly. Lovely old hotel in an excellent village location, great for exploring Exmoor and the coast. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, as were the locals in the bar! The rooms were clean and spacious, the facilities very good. The food was superb. I would definitely like to stay here again, for longer hopefully.

The Full English Breakfast was delicious, We did not need any Lunch, The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfy, and handy having a shop next door. Wonderful location.All lovely.

the charm of the period property and the village location was so nice it was very clean the room was much bigger than other places we have stayed it was clean and comfortable, the staff where very pleasant and helpful, the evening meals where great and the breakfast was superb all in all we highly recommend the crown hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again, thank you.
Breakfast excellent. Atmosphere and service in bar very good as was the food although disappointed on Grill night that ribeye and lamb not available. Stairs to second floor quite hard work . Will ask for first floor room next time!
Although happy the rooms aren't serviced for a short stay, it would have been nice to have had the bin emptied and tea/coffee etc refreshed.
