A nice large hotel on the edge of Ullapool
Pros:

The Royal Hotel was a comfortable, quite large hotel, on the northern edge of Ullapool. Our room was comfortable, with a good bed and pillows. The lounge and bar area did not have much character, but the food was excellent and breakfast was fantastic. The staff were also excellent and made us very welcome.

Cons:

The shower was too small given the size of the bathroom.

This place was great and we had a great stay.
Pros:

The room was great. It was large and had lots of space. The hotel restaurant was really good and our server was fantastic and very friendly. The location was very walkable and easy to get around.

Great stopover while driving the NC500
Pros:

Breakfast was vg and staff were very efficient. I would have no problem recommending it or going back. Great parking facilities and the lady at reception was very helpful
