Dak Drinh Lodge

This place is special. Dzung has done an incredible job of creating a rustic paradise that celebrates local culture and makes you feel at home. There’s a sense of tranquility and peace here that radiates throughout every aspect of the experience. Amazing food, comfortable cabins, and gorgeous animals. Dzung is also a great human with a big heart and we can’t wait to come visit again soon.

The location and environment

The most stunning location where I was able to go for a swim in the lake when I woke up. The drive in left me speechless, absolutely beautiful. The host was extremely friendly and very relaxed, also a very good cook. And bonus points for his very cute animals which you will make friends with whether you like it or not!

Die DAK Drinh Lodge ist ein unglaublicher schöner, ruhiger und natürlicher Ort, um mal richtig schön abzuschalten. Alles ist sehr sauber und mit viel Hingabe angelegt. Der See ist direkt über das Grundstück erreichbar, man kann sich ein SUP oder ein Kaja leihen, schwimmen gehen, in der Hängematte unter den Palmen in der Hängematte lesen oder die wunderschöne Gegend zu Fuß erkunden. Dzung ist zudem ein fantastischer Koch. So lecker habe ich in Vietnam noch nicht gegessen. Alles ist frisch und sehr lecker zubereitet. Die vier Hundis und 3 Katzen leisten auch immer gerne Gesellschaft und sind super lieb. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall mindestens 2 Nächte zu bleiben.Wenn ich wieder mal die Gelegenheit bekomme, komme ich gerne wieder.

Unique location in the Jungle, exceptional Food and very interesting and caring host

This place is really special with such a beatiful scenery and awesome host. We felt really welcomed here and would have gladly stayed here more if not for the afternoon rains. We also needed to get moving a bit faster in our trip. But still even with the rain it was a great stay. A short stretch of the road to this lodge might be a bit challenging especially in the rain but it felt more like an adventure to get there though. Really hope that we will have the opportunity to travel to Vietnam and to this region in the future. We would stay here more for sure

Dzunk is a nice guy and cares for his guests.
It's a nice place, swimming in the lake just next to the lodge is amazing and truely better than every Pool.
It was a really nice experience to stay here for 2 days.

Across our three week motorcycle trek around Vietnam, this was one of our favourites.
Whilst a little in the middle of nowhere, Dzung made finding it very easy with his communication prior to our stay.
The lodge itself is exactly what it looks like - a simple eco lodge against a stunning backdrop of the lake. The jungle comes alive at night with cicada song, and in the morning the cockerels are doing their thing, and it makes the stay all the more wonderful!
Dzung was such a gracious host as well - he's built such a wonderful home and was happy to show us some of the best views of the lake, and tell us more about the local villagers and their heritage. He supported us with our ongoing journey as we were leaving which we incredibly helpful. The dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious, not to mention his three dogs were wonderful company!

Thank you Dak Drinh Lodge for the wonderful experience. The homestay is lush green with lots of trees, creating a very comfortable feeling while staying. Mr. Dzũng is very attentive to guests, and the meals always feature simple yet delicious dishes. Listening to him share stories about the life of the Ca Dong people here helped me understand more about their lives. See you again!
