The Lost Garden

We stayed at the Lost Garden late June for 4 nights and loved every minute of it.
The Hotel has a real relaxing Spa like feeling and I can not speak highly enough of the amazing people that work there. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and make you feel so welcome. The rooms are gorgeous with everything you would expect from a high end hotel. The breakfast are amazing and all the natural local produce is delicious.
The Grounds are so relaxing with an amazing view of most of the Bridges that link Porto to Gaia. The swimming pool and sauna are lovely. We had many a drink and snacks while sat in the garden looking at the amazing view, I can highly recommend the meat and cheese board!. The closest bridge is about a 20 minute walk and then over the bridge you are right in the heart of Porto. The Port cellars are a 25 minute walk away.

We will 100% return here, one of our favorite places we have stayed!

Un hermoso lugar, la vista desde el hotel y las habitaciones, así como el jardín y la alberca son fantásticos, el personal se esmera mucho en la atención, el menú del desayuno y la cena muy saludable y los ingredientes de alta calidad, en general un lugar muy ecológico que vale la pena visitar otra vez

Tudo perfeito! Decoração e limpeza de todos os espaços, simpatia das funcionárias e proprietária, a piscina um encanto, a vista deslumbrante, a sala do pequeno-almoço fantástica, tal como o próprio pequeno-almoço. Excelente! Diferente de quase tudo!

Le lieu calme, la vue, le confort des lits, le personnel très sympa et souriant.

Zeer schoon, erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fraai uitgevoerde eetruimte met een erg compleet en gevarieerd ontbijt. Glutenvrij eten is mogelijk en wordt met zorg bereid. Er hangt een geweldige sfeer en rust, een wellness gevoel.

Recent gebouwd, kleinschalig opgezet met een mooi zwembad met prachtig uitzicht op de Douro en twee bruggen. De accommodatie is compact, maar is uiterst compleet. Wij hadden een hoekwoning met eigen terras wat zorgt voor nog meer vrijheid.

Primeiro o atendimento no check-in muito bom, com pulverização do quarto com um cheirinho à nossa escolha, produzido no próprio alojamento, e uma welcome drink, adorámos. A vista espetacular do douro, os detalhes do quarto, desde uma cesta com toalhas de praia, além dos robes, sabonete natural, creme do corpo, shampo, gel de banho e condicionador, entre outras coisas que nos agradaram muito. A limpeza diria que estava perfeita, e a beleza do quarto. O pequeno-almoço não tem uma variedade muito alargada mas tudo o que tem é delicioso, fresquinho e tudo feito à mão no alojamento. O jardim está muito bem tratado e gostamos do facto de ser um alojamento pequeno com poucos hóspedes, muito calmo. Todo o alojamento é lindíssimo e bem cuidado!

Personale var fantastisk flinke og hjælpsomme.
Et utrolig skønt sted med dejlige udendørs faciliteter, have, pool og udsigt til Douro floden.
Hotellet, værelser, alt er virkelig smukt indrettet.
Maden var lavet af de bedste råvarer, egen bager.

Tout est parfait. Le petit-déjeuner est exquis, tout comme les plats proposés au bar, avec des produits de qualité.
La déco est faite avec goût sans aucune fausse note.
La vue est sublime et fait oublier que l’hôtel est un peu loin à pied du centre de Porto.
Tout est très propre et parfaitement entretenu.
La piscine et les extérieurs sont sublimes.
Et le personnel est au petit soin

There was so much that we loved about this hotel…we could not fault it! The setting is absolutely stunning, the attention to detail of their design made it feel like a boutique stay. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you, especially a big thank you to Mariana who made it feel like a home away from home.

The pool and sauna were a great option to have, especially when the heat in the city was too much, it gave us a chance to come back and relax.

The food and drink were also delicious. The breakfast was all fresh produce and presented beautifully.

The room was very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. A lovey touch, at check in they ask you to choose your aromatherapy, and they prepare the room for you with that scent! Just beautiful.
