Exceeded every expectation
Pros:

The location was just stunning, the town the people and the sights were everything plus more. There was a castle we didnt know about just a walk down the road, we met a lovely local that told us about it. We walked everywhere, the road to get there was also a stunning journey. The accommodation was dream worthy. It was like living in a castle. The breakfast was beautiful and to die for and the meals were superb. Couldn't complain about anything, our room was bigger than we expected. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Nothing

Pros:

We somehow inadvertently found ourselves on a busy night in the hotel with lots of coach bookings! However the receptionist and Luke were so helpful in accommodating us as a small group of four with food and seating options, thank you both for being understanding with my mum! Edita was also lovely during breakfast. Thank you. Location was suitable for the NC500 route.

Lovely old victorian building, but it looking a bit tired.
Pros:

A lovely room and great shower. Breakfast was decent. The hotel is a lovely old Victorian building and is well located in the centre of Strathpeffer. The staff were great, especially the receptionists. There are some lovely walks up and around the town itself.

Cons:

The food felt like school dinners. Only a few choices available and different prices for one, two or three courses.
The hotel is tired and needs some investment which won't be cheap. The carpets in the corridors are quite threadbare and need replacing.

Pros:

Parken direkt vor dem Eingang. Gutes Essen.

Cons:

Pros:

Staff, cleanliness and breakfast were all good.

Cons:

Was expecting a room with at least some sort of view. One small window looking onto some bare walls was unexpected on our wedding anniversary.
