The staff were great and very helpful
The top floor room was terrible, zero (and I mean zero) water pressure - see the picture - this was on full!!!
One of the “clean towels” appeared to have stool on it!
The wallpaper was peeling
The parking if aweful!
Overall it just wasn’t nice!
Nice old hotel in a lovely location
Room was tiny and could do with a revamp. There was limited choice on the dinner menu although the food was nice
Location
It was very old carpets and so was some off the furniture. Shabby and in need of replacement .
Everything and everyone 🥰
The location and the garden grounds of the hotel are really beautiful.
Mostly it was excellent but we had to change rooms after the first night because the first the room was too small for two adults and a dog.
Great staff. Handy location.
Tired interior, has slight horror film vibes.
All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I had booked a single room and it was very spacious compared to others I have stayed in. The evening meal (set menu, pay extra) was very good value for money and drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. The hotel is a little dated in places but is very clean and the grounds are lovely and well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful and varied - always good to have some haggis and black pudding at breakfast!
Nothing really.

The food is dull and tasteless. Eat somewhere else.
Breakfast was good for the money. Hot and plentiful.
It was pleasant enough for the hotel price.
