Location
No hot water, dated rooms, large spider sharing room with us. Toilet cystern took ages to fill up also was very noisy, reception was often left unattended.
Great food and friendly staff
Like everywhere in the highlands the rooms are tired with sinks from the late 70s TV could be bigger and shower stronger
Good cooked breakfast
Bar was limited could have stayed open longer
The location was perfect. The gardens were beautifully kept and the outside of the building was spectacular.
The internal decor was old, dated and run down. The room itself was like walking into an old university dorm. The lift had carpeted walls inside and smelled very stale in there like old smoke.
Clean . Quiet. Friendly staff
Hadnt realised they dig friendly or may have taken my dog
Great old fashioned highland hotel. Loved it
We had expected a bar menu
Set menu was delicious but portions set for the bus tour appetitie not for us after a days hiking!
Friendly very helpful staff
Top
The hotel ,yes it's a little tired in areas but it doesn't take away from the beauty of it ,to fully modernise it would be (in my opinion) a loss.if you want sterile square rooms bars on windows and gloomy floors ... this isn't for you .if you want beautiful grounds to walk around fabulous warm staff ,decent filling food and a comfy quiet bedroom, look no further
I knew of this hotel for many a year but never stopped strathpeffer before but will visit again .
Check in de nuit.
Bâtiment magnifique !
Good Breakfasts and Evening meals, staff were very polite and helpful. Clean and tidy
tiny wee bedroom , bed wasn't very comfy, shower room could do with an upgrade
Location , helpful staff, food generally
Dreadful views from inner room windows
One poor meal
