We really loved the beautiful and peaceful location, the lovely surroundings .
Honestly, we didn’t have any major complaints. We really enjoyed our stay, and everything was comfortable and well taken care of.
Architectonisch meest bijzondere accommodatie tijdens onze reis. Met prachtig uitzicht vanuit kamer met volledige raampartij aan voorkant, en ook vanaf terras.
Het is eigenlijk wat verder weg van de meest belangrijke hikes in de Knuckles range. Ze bieden wel een (prijzige) hike in de onmiddellijke omgeving aan, maar Riverston ligt op 45 minuten rijden dus niet echt logisch. Je kiest dus vooral voor een bijzonder verblijf, niet als gemakkelijke uitvalsbasis voor exploratie van Knuckles.
Wij zaten in de topkamer en onze zoon sliep dan op een vide met ladder bereikbaar. Daar was het overdag niet te harden zo heet, de airco hielp daar niet. In de avond koelt het gelukkig af.
La vue de la chambre est incroyable, A/C + eau chaude, le lit est confortable. Le personnel est adorable et très arrangeant, aucune difficulté pour nous trouver un taxi, Tuktuk, guide possible pour une randonnée incroyable dans la montagne. En plus de tout ça, la nourriture est excellente, nous recommandons et revenons avec plaisir !
Die Lage ist einfach einzigartig. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Host (in unserem Fall der Vater des Besitzers) war sehr bemüht und fürsorglich. Essenssonderwünsche (vegetarisch) waren kein Problem. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die Walking/Hiking Tour durch die umliegenden Wälder, Reisfelder und Dörfer. Das Hotel stellt den Kontakt zum Guide her.

And the guy was there assisted us so good I forgot to ask his name chef really does great job too
There is no guidance if you come alone with your own car they will not assist you I tried to call and text when we got lost but owner didn’t reply or pick up I guess because we are Sri Lankan and even we met him to our face few times he didn’t even smile at us all which was bad experience need to put sign board to find a the place and no tv and WiFi I understand very slow coz top of the mountain and electricity shuts down and night was very hot bad feeling when you spend a lot of money for staying it’s not really worth it for money inside room is fine but so boring if you stay only there
So before you go here think twice
The best of the best is the view and the breakfast. The room was very clean and the atmosphere was amazing. I would highly recommend this place to another travel buddy.

This property is an absolute hidden gem and somewhere that would make any trip to Sri Lanka memorable. The owner is an incredibly kind and considerate host who facilitates a wonderful stay in the knuckles mountain range. The property itself is gorgeous and unique. The views from both the room and dining area are fantastic. The location of the property is nicely tucked away up a steep road and gives you a feeling of peacefulness and remoteness. The food served at the resort is creative, fresh, and aromatic.
Not a negative, but it’s important to note that the resort is in a remote area so it’s not like you can just walk down the road to a restaurant. That being said, the food served at the hotel is wonderful, and we were happy to dine with them for every meal of our stay.

- when you stay multiple days, I would suggest you have your own vehicle/tuktuk so you’re not dependent on the owner. We loved driving around in our tuktuk!
- the place is high up in the mountain, which logically means there are some bugs so don’t be too scared
Unser Aufenthalt im Eco Vibe Resort war hervorragend. Supun war ein super netter und herzlicher Gastgeber, der wirklich alles getan hat, um unseren Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Zimmer waren groß und sehr sauber, die Aussicht ist atemberaubend und morgens von den Geräuschen der Tiere geweckt zu werden, war sehr schön. Supun hat uns sogar einen Tag durch die Berge gefahren und mit uns eine kleine Wanderung unternommen. Darüber hinaus war er sehr flexibel, was meine besonderen Essenswünsche anbelangte. Für die Zukunft hat er noch einige Pläne und ich hoffe sehr, dass wir eines Tages wiederkommen können!
Alles war super, aber man sollte wissen, dass man mit einem Auto oder Tuktuk deutlich flexibler ist, da die Preise für geführte Wanderungen im Dschungel relativ hoch sind.
