This is a very special place with beautiful plants and trees - perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The pool was very welcome after a long day of walking. We had the most delicious home cooked supper and breakfast from home grown produce. It was a lovely experience staying here.

The dog, I was afraid to get up in the night to go outside and walk to the bathroom. If I had known it was chained up I would have been more comfortable. As well, all night an alarm voice woke me up on the hour, it was alarming something about the wifi I think. As well the apps said the property was 25 and I was charged 35 and when I wanted to come 30 minutes early I was told I could come for an additional 10 euro.
The personal hospitality by the hosts was impeccable. As well as the delicious meals provided by the chefs (hosts of course). We were treated so kindly and genuinly welcomed after a long and hot Camino walk. Beautiful new pool, stunning sauna and spacious grounds, with gardens paths and fruit and olive trees. They were such a lovely and personable couple immersed in the well-being of their guests. Wished we could have stayed longer.
Could have used a fan. The heat was so hot over night we were so stuffy sleeping on top of the covers. Minor though compared to all the pluses.
Wat heerlijk! Het zout water zwembad, de prachtige tuin met schaapjes achterin, een hele fijne plek. Ik kan iedereen aanraden om gebruik te maken van de mogelijkheid om savonds daar te eten, bijna alles uit eigen tuin en erg lekker!
Beautiful oasis at the end of a long hiking day. The hosts were very accommodating to our schedule. Great meal choices if you choose to join in a m meal which i recommend

The salt pool is gorgeous and the dinner and food provided were exceptional. It felt like a 5 star food experience cooked with love and each dish had a story
The bathroom is far from the room which means you have to walk there at night, also the german shepherd sleeps outside the door and wakes up and barks if you leave at night, after telling him to Shhh he did calm but disturbed the other person in my room. It felt like there were alot of rules around what to take into the room which felt a little uncomfortable.

The property was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and well maintained. Everything was tidy and neat, which made the stay very pleasant and relaxing. It also offered excellent value for money. Overall, I was very satisfied with the accommodation and would happily stay here again.
The owners are very attentive and friendly, the food they make is amazingly tasty.
There were only a few minor things to mention. The Wi-Fi signal didn’t reach the area where I was staying, so I had to go to the living room or dining area to get a connection. If having internet access in your room is important, this is something to keep in mind.
There were also quite a few mosquitoes, although this is understandable given the location of the property. I would recommend bringing some mosquito repellent or cream. The owners were very helpful and provided me with mosquito spray, which worked well.
There is also a German Shepherd on the property who tends to bark when you walk past or when you go to the dining area. It wasn’t a major issue, but it’s worth mentioning for anyone who may be uncomfortable around large dogs.
Apart from these minor points, everything else about the property was very good, and I enjoyed my stay.
It felt like coming home after a long and hot day on the Camino. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and the food they lovingly prepared for our group was exceptional, with many of the ingredients grown in their own garden! The facilities were clean and comfortable and the beautiful pool was a life saver!
The owners were absolutely amazing. Made you feel very welcomed the minute you came through the gate. I added dinner to my stay and it was absolutely amazing with everything homemade and very very filling. After a long day of walking it was the perfect meal.

I had a beautiful time to retreat myself at Herdade da Luce. The place has a very peaceful atmosphere, Lea & Andrus are amazing hosts. The breakfast is well prepared with fresh ingredients. Thanks to Lea to our deep and meaningful conversations about life.

Warme gastvrijheid, heel rustig en ontspannen verblijf en lekker eten van eigen land.
Niks eigenlijk hoewel de wifi binnen in t huisje niet goed was. Maar buiten en in de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes was de wifi prima.
Absolutely wonderful place, both for walking the Camino and just relaxing. Such hospitality and love is rare to find anywhere. Beautiful, very tasty, a happy place!
