The container concept was cool. It was right on the beach, and everything else was super close. The staff were awesome!!!

Cons:

For the price, breakfast could have been included. Many other places with way lower prices include breakfast. The pool and the surrounding beach area close to the hotel were dirty. It doesn't matter if the weekend is over, the weekday guests should also be important. Power went out a few times for a few minutes. There was a dead bird stinking up the place near the pool, and a huge dead spider in the pool floating around. Took about 3 days to clean them up.

Highly recommend Wao Playa Venao. Cant wait to come back!
Pros:

The setting is perfect; right on the ocean. Also the pool was clean and just right outside our door. The dining options were excellent. The staff at Wao Playa Venao were phenomenal, especially Veronica.

Cons:

Our air conditioner quit working but the issue was resolved quickly.

Pros:

Rooms are old shipping containers. Bathrooms are a tight fit, but still great. Get a beach/pool view. Many little restaurants on the property for every taste.

Cons:

Don't drink the water! Don't even rinse your toothbrush. I did and I'm paying the price! I'll be back to my ideal weight this week.
