La Belle Maison

A boutique family run hotel in an excellent location. Beautifully furnished and with excellent staff. Nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was also very good.

Would 110% reccommend! They had everything perfected! We couldnt have asked for a better start to our honeymoon! The room was gorgeous, such beautiful character and meticulously clean and comfortable. We felt we had to be in the very best accommodation around, we noticed people taking photos of our accommodations balcony from the street below, which speaks volumes. The location was the best, with direct views of the temple on the lake from the breakfast room and rooftop, double decker tour bus stop directly opposite and the night market a couple streets away. The staff, particularly the manager Thor, were soo helpful, informative and courteous, it was gold class service. Breakfast was also delicious and accommodated really well for vegan. Thank you so much!

Thor, the receptionist, was very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at the Belle Maison. It is a small, family like hotel best situated in the old quarter. For our 3 must haves, the Belle Maison scored top: really good and big bed, fantastic breakfast and very friendly, polite and helpful staff - we felt like staying with friends.
Additionally everything was very, very clean, the hairdryer was really good, breakfast prepared with a lot of attentiin and we did not hear any noise from other hotel guests.
Thor, the receptionist, was very helpful with restaurant Tipps (you can follow them blindly), arranged for trips and answered all questions.
We liked it so much, that we even extended our stay. If we come back to hanoi, this will be our adress to stay for sure.

Das Personal (Mr. Thor) war außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit.
Die Lage ist premium, besser geht es nicht. Es hat einen besonderen Charme durch die koloniale Ausstattung. Das Frühstück war sehr üppig und immer frisch.

Location, great place to stay after a long journey. Rooms were spacious, and view is lovely! Staff SO wonderful and kind. Breakfast was plenty ! Encourage guests to not waste food the kitchen really puts a lot of effort to make everyone feel at home.

Lovely stay here! It is above the Circle K for when you arrive! As soon as you step in to the hotel, there is a lovely smell followed by a wonderful greeting from Thor or Louis! Depending on what time you get there. Lots of fabulous food a trip recommendations. The rooftop view has the lake and the famous lake bridge! We had a city view room, which was wonderful! If we come again we would like to try a lake view room!
The day we left was national women’s day and so I was presented with a beautiful card a bouquet of flower by Thor!
Breakfast was lovely with variety. I recommend the Pho 🍜

Die Unterkunft liegt absolut zentral, der Ausblick vom Frühstücksraum ist großartig, das Frühstück ist sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr hilfsbereit und sehr sehr nett. Es gibt auch eine Dachterrasse. Wir hatten viele Fragen bezüglich kleiner Touren und wir haben wertvolle Unterstützung bekommen!

Superb breakfast, central location. Thor and his staff were most accomodating and made us feel welcome the whole time we were there.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Dass kein Aufzug vorhanden ist war für uns kein Problem. Die Taschen wurden vom hilfreichen Angestellten hoch- und runtergetragen. Thor, der Rezeption Angestellte, hat uns einen Transfer mit Limousine gebucht und sogar noch einen Brief zum Postbüro gebracht. Perfekte Gastfreundschaft.

We stayed at La Belle Maison twice during our Vietnam holiday. The location is superb, overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake. The suite was very spacious and well equipped. Breakfasts (on the sixth floor overlooking the lake) were excellent. And the staff, led by Thor, went above and beyond in the level of service.
An absolutely delightful stay!

I loved the location of this property and the staff. It’s right in front of the lake and on the weekends the streets close so it’s quieter and great for people watching, or running. The staff Thor and Loki were amazing, so helpful and kind. The breakfast chef was also great!
