Happy to have chosen this place to stay!
Pros:

The rooms and entire hotel was clean. The service staff gave very good service. Were on top of every need and provided meals while we were staying there. Were very warm and courteous too. Good breakfast also with good Chinese cuisine.

В этом замечательном отеле вас встречают, как дорогих гостей, погружают в культуру, знакомят с национальной кухней и объясняют что за еда.
Хорошие завтраки и на вечер можно заказать лапшу, если вдруг не успели поесть в городе. Очень приветливый персонал. Чисто и уютно, все необходимое для проживания есть. Очень удобные кровати.

Ich war vor 2 Jahren schon einmal hier und es war wieder ein wunderschönes und bisher unübertroffenes Erlebnis. Die Leute hier sind so unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man möchte hier nicht mehr weg. Man wird verwöhnt, jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, wir sind hier in einem kleinen Paradies.

Very nice family-run hotel in the heart of Beijing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, always offering support and services at any moment of the day. The atmosphere is lovely — it feels like stepping into a historic residence and leaving behind the chaos of the city. The location is excellent, close to the metro, many activities, and the main tourist attractions in the city center. The personalized breakfast and afternoon tea were particularly appreciated. I would definitely recommend simply trusting the staff and enjoying the stay.

Cons:

There are no major negative aspects, but be aware that this is a courtyard hotel, with rooms overlooking the central courtyard through large windows. Although there are heavy curtains, privacy may not be the strongest point, especially in warmer weather if you want to open windows and do not want to keep the air conditioning on all the time. The room we booked for three people felt a bit small, though it would be perfect for two. The smart room system (as is common everywhere in China) is present, but can sometimes be a little unintuitive.

Очень атмосферный отель в центре города, рядом множество магазинов и кафе, персонал прекрасный, реагировал молниеносно на любую просьбу. В номере было все необходимое для проживания. Он аэропорта Пекина 30 минут на такси.

Pleasant but maintenance could be improved
Pros:

The staff were very pleasant and constantly ensured we were taken care of. They provided sweet treats and mid day tea for us. The surrounding is nice and serene and special than a normal hotel.

Cons:

The room was too small for a family of 4. There was not enough space for 2 big luggages. It would be nice to have complimentary tv channels instead of purely subscriptions. The heater broke down on 1 night and we had to shower in cold water which was a bummer. The staff tried to rectify it but it took some time before it was back up running.

Pros:

We had an awesome stay in this courtyard hotel. The property is based in an old traditional alley with settings like the olden days but amenities are modern and service is top notch. The staff is so hospitable making sure we were very looked after. The daily afternoon tea is so thoughtful and delicious. Kids get to feed fishes and make cotton candy. Breakfast was delicious too.
