Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional and one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Beijing.

The location is excellent and very accessible with plenty of restaurants nearby, and just a short distance from Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner of the hotel was incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff, Xiao Guo, Xiao Du, Xiao Fu, and Xiao Wang Meimei. Every one of them went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They were always cheerful, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their kindness and dedication made us feel completely at home.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The ambience makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into a traditional ancient Chinese courtyard house. The staff dressed in traditional Chinese attire added an authentic cultural touch, creating a unique and immersive experience.

We especially appreciated all the thoughtful little details. Every afternoon, the hotel served delicious afternoon tea along with complimentary daily beverages. Before we headed out each morning, the staff would always remind us to take a bottle of water to stay hydrated, a small but thoughtful gesture that showed how much they genuinely cared about their guests’ well-being.

After a full day of exploring the city, it was always heartwarming to return to the hotel and be greeted with smiling faces at the entrance. Those warm welcomes made us feel more like family than guests.

One thing you’ll never have to worry about is going hungry. The hotel is incredibly generous with its refreshments, drinks, and afternoon tea, ensuring guests are always well taken care of.

Совершенно очаровательный небольшой отель в самом центре пекинских хутунов - районе древней городской застройки, где в былые времена проживали богатые пекинские чиновники. Это очень аутентичный район, дающий полное представление о быте китайцев в стародавние времена. Район и в наше время считается престижным и люди там живут. Пусть вас не смущает, что переулок, в котором расположен отель узкий - буквально в 50 метрах находится широкий современный проспект. А вот в самом отеле вас ждет настолько уютная и расслабляющая атмосфера, что вы забудете о суете городской жизни! За завтраком вы услышите пение сверчка, сможете покормить золотых каратов в крошечном пруду, а утреннюю медитацию сможете начать, любуясь
божественным цветком лотоса! Мы были очарованы и бесконечно благодарны феям этого отеля за гостеприимство и заботу! Обязательно вернемся!

This was a perfect start to our China roundtrip and first visit to Beijing. The staff went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were comfortable. The room and food were great, location too. Thank you!

Staff members are exceptional, they did not just do their duties but performed above and beyond. Every single one was attentive. Special shoutout for Ms. Jia Hui, always thoughtful always helpfull, and Ms. Anie who kindly assisted us ordering rail tickets. Even after we check out hotel still texted and asked if we boarded the train OK. Room was modern and very clean, the whole hotel is charming, homey and thoughtfully designed. Afternoon tea was lovely

The location - its in hutong so its close to food places, the staff, everyone is very helpful and very nice. They go out of their way to help us. I cant thank them enough for being so helpful. The room is very comfortable too.

We appreciated the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious tea breaks and breakfast. The hotel is a peaceful place, displaying traditional local architecture with carp pond and green trees. The room was comfortable for our family.

This renovated traditional hotel has all luxury you need. Staff are super friendly and help you with everything, we felt so welcome, they bring you drinks and snacks in the afternoon or when you come back from a long trip. It is a very peaceful and quiet place. They have this wonderful bird Toto who loves to sit on your shoulder. My son adored him. Very good beds. You can easily take the subway or Didi.

馨香雅苑王府井四合院位置極為優越，隱於王府井附近胡同之中，步行就能逛商圈景點，出行十分便利。店內服務小姐姐熱情周到，有任何需求都會細心回應。自助早餐品類豐盛，中西美食一應俱全，吃得非常滿足。下午茶造型精緻別致，口感香甜可口。古色古香的院落景致絕佳，隨手拍照都十分出片。院子裡還有小鳥可以逗玩，閒坐餵鳥格外悠閒愜意。整體體驗遠超預期，傳統四合院氛圍感滿滿，來北京住宿非常推薦這裡，下次過來還會選擇入住。

During our trip to Beijing, we stayed at the Xinxiang Yayuan Courtyard Hotel. The experience was far beyond our expectations, and it was well worth every penny.

It has an excellent location, tucked away in an old hutong. It’s really close to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Wangfujing, within walking distance to all the scenic spots. The streets outside are bustling, but the courtyard is wonderfully peaceful. It’s such a lovely escape from the busy city.

We can’t praise the staff enough. They are warm and genuine, never cold or formal. Check-in was quick, and they happily told us where to find authentic local snacks nearby. They helped with our luggage right away, and responded promptly whenever we needed anything. We felt totally at ease during our stay. Noodles and wontons are available all day long, and the traditional Beijing noodles with soybean paste are absolutely delicious.

The rooms are quite spacious, never cramped at all. Everything was spotlessly clean, decorated in classic old courtyard style. The rooms are bright and airy, perfect for a good rest after a long day out.

What we loved most was the courtyard itself. We would wander around whenever we had free time. We could feed the koi fish in the pond and watch the birds. Sitting outside enjoying the breeze, we truly felt the laid-back lifestyle of old Beijing, and it’s also a great spot for photos.

The food was also fantastic. The breakfast had a wide selection, including lots of local Beijing snacks, tasting just like home cooking. They also serve afternoon tea with small pastries and tea. Enjoying it slowly in the courtyard was absolutely delightful.

All in all, everything was perfect. It’s ideal both for travelling and relaxing, and for experiencing real courtyard life in Beijing. We will definitely come back again next time we visit Beijing.

这次北京之行选到馨香雅苑真的太惊喜了！藏在老北京胡同里的正统四合院，青砖灰瓦搭配朱红廊檐，庭院里锦鲤池雾气缭绕，荷叶亭亭，一步一景，充满老京城韵味。
院落安静雅致，闹中取静，距离王府井、天安门都很近，出行十分方便。
吃饭的地方也有许多，出口一条街随便逛，非常舒适，房间古色古香，装修精致有格调，屋内设施齐全，
夏天冰箱饮品种类非常丰富，并且都是免费 24 小时供应
管家服务非常贴心周到，有需求响应很快，没有一家酒店的服务能这家相对比，非常好
早餐早餐种类也有许多，也有现煮的面食和馄炖，精致可口。
还有下午茶，非常的漂亮，非常适合拍照打卡，坐在窗边喝茶用餐，抬眼就是庭院绿树红檐，氛围感直接拉满。
来北京一定要住四合院，这家馨香雅苑绝对值得推荐，下次再来还会选择这里！

We didn’t stay. We booked 2 rooms. When we reach the property , one of the room is not available . According to the staff, it is flooded. Ask to see the room but was rejected

Everything was great. Super clean room, amazing staff. They were so welcoming. Delicious breakfast and no words about the afternoon tea - great! We felt cared. Their noodles are tasty. Complimentary drinks.
