Location perfect. Staff amazing....Love it
Room was very comfortable with great views over the park.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with both buffet and cooked breakfast to order.
We just loved the grounds and the adjoining park, so beautiful and we loved it.
We didn’t like the magnets on the wardrobes as it was difficult to close the wardrobe door without it going bang.
Also first night people going to bed late and all hotel doors make such a loud bang.
Lovely stay, food was great and location and grounds were exceptional!!
Reception and lobby was very nice
Member of staff who checked us in at first seemed surprised we wanted to check in, felt like we didn’t belong there
The location and the building.
It's probably the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Shoes stuck to the floor in the public areas, carpets need a clean, ashtrays are full, and generally quite grimey. Staff seem demotivated.
The bed was great. Location is lovely but it is quite secluded. If you want something more lively or convenient, stay in the village.
I have never stayed in a hotel where its restaurant seemed to either be closed or full. No tables for hotel guests. Odd opening and closing times when one would expect to be able to use the facility almost all day. There is not much around so ended up eating at pubs nearby (at least a 10 minute walk). Lost revenue for the hotel and disappointment for paying guests.
lush property with opulent furniture and decor - staff were lovely always willing to help, really clean throughout the hotel
wanted to book massage and no spaces for days :-( also diff prices to upgrade for us and people we were travelling with which seems bizarre .. we booked 6 months in advance and got offered two diff prices .. other couple booked a month ago and got offered upgrade cheaper on arrival than we paid to upgrade when we arrived .. we accepted not knowing they had been offered much cheaper ... should keep upgrade prices the same throughout surely
The room was perfect and the ved very comfortable. Well positioned for an early morning walk. The staff were phenomenal in every way making us feel st home from home
Nothing comes to mind
They upgraded our room to a suite which was lovely. Was very nice restaurant was good
