Pros:

La posizione è ottima se vuoi stare all’interno della città e visitare i vari ghat.

Cons:

La mia camera purtroppo non era pulita: sia le lenzuola che le federe dei cuscini erano sporche. Considerando un prezzo di circa 200 € a notte, soprattutto in India, mi aspettavo uno standard decisamente più alto.
Capisco che il costo venga giustificato principalmente dalla posizione, sicuramente privilegiata, ma dal mio punto di vista questo non è sufficiente a giustificare una tariffa così elevata.
Durante lo stesso soggiorno a Varanasi ho alloggiato anche al DoubleTree by Hilton e al Taj Ganges, entrambi a prezzi sensibilmente più bassi, trovando camere impeccabili, ottima pulizia e servizi di livello superiore. Inoltre, considerando che in taxi si raggiunge il centro in circa 10 minuti, personalmente non ritengo che la posizione da sola compensi una differenza di prezzo così importante.

Magnifique hôtel . Emplacement idéal pour découvrir la vie foisonnante des bords du Gange.
Pros:

Localisation et vue sur le Gange. Personnel aux petits soins. Restaurant délicieux

Cons:

Pas d’alcool.
Accès à la ville moderne et d’autres restaurants difficile.

Fabulous experience.
Pros:

The location was outstanding. The staff were all amazing and so friendly. The reception staff helped me enormously and I can’t thank them enough.

Cons:

Wifi in my room didn’t work properly, but they were happy to move rooms for me.
The heritage walking tour was dreadful, the guide provided no history on the ghats and really just walked me through grubby back alleys.

Beautiful and cute to soak in the vibe of Benaras.
Pros:

Location was amazing. Try staying on 2nd floor or above. 1st floor rooms have little dampness. We stayed on 3rd floor. Very pleasant

Cons:

Its not car accessible. Its a major problem for any family with toddlers or senior citizens with leg/knees issues. Reaching the hotel is a problem. Food is very expensive and not justifiable.

Nice, enjoyable stay!
Pros:

Great heritage property, located on the banks of Ganges. But if you have elders with you, don’t book this as there are 20-25 steps to be taken to reach the river bank to take a boat. By the way, getting around is mainly by boats operated by the Hotel… free of cost but with some wait time.

Cons:

Getting around could be a bit of an issue if boats don’t operate due to weather or other issues. Happened to me as there was a storm and a boatmen strike (yes! happens in India)…

Pros:

The location is incredible but the property is quite run down.

Cons:

Very run down for the price. I understand is an old building but even mattresses, sheets ans tvs are quite old. I understand is the second best option in varanasi but it really isn’t worth the same money that other similarly prices hotel in touristy locations in India

タクシーで直接行けない点。その分、ボートで乗り入れるサービスあり、その点は良かった。
