Beautiful hotel,grounds and staff.
Our bathroom in room 148 needs updating
Het hotel is prachtig om te zien, mooi gelegen op een landgoed. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn wat gedateerd, maar voldoen verder prima.

Absolutely love this place have been several times. As soon as you enter the gates, it carries you to a magical place like nowhere else can ,the staff are all lovely and cant do enough to help the grounds garden and terrace are mystical, the rooms are stunning as is the spa, the inside of the building is magnificent like being transported back in time, breakfast is second to none and the food in the restaurant's is delicious
Nothing not to like
Beautiful building and staff worked hard.
It’s a popular wedding venue so it was crowded and a bit noisy even if the hotel tries hard to keep the two customer groups separated.
It is very classy and excellent value for money
The bed was not very comfy and the room was very large so
Could ah e had a much larger bed than a standard double
It was a beautiful building and for where I needed to get to the next day it was a very convenient location.
I appreciate a period property will have limitations with how much it can modernise but the room was cold, the bed was hard, the pillows weren't great. Bathroom was dingy and there was very little light in the room.
The decor
Very expensive to eat and drink
Stunning gardens

Beautiful building. Great surrounding, but most of it was fenced off. Breakfast was good. It was dog friendly.
The bed was small. It was expensive.
We only wanted something simple so chose fish and chips and it was perfect in the Atrium. Prices were reasonable for both food and drinks and the staff were so helpful with our travel plans. Beautiful setting and ambience. Breakfast was amazing in the beautiful room allocated. Although weather not great we did manage to walk around the stunning grounds and they were so beautifully manicured. The history of the building and the information provided was so interesting. We stumbled upon a graveyard of obviously much beloved pets which touched our hearts. We loved the architecture of the buildings and the well tended gardens. To add to it a helicopter landed and stayed for the night and loved watching it touch down and take off. Room very comfortable and clean with tea and coffee available. Quiet surroundings, easy parking - a perfect location.
I cannot think of anything to improve our stay - it was perfect.
Prachtig domein, zeer goed ontbijt. Sfeervolle bar.
