An absolute pleasure to stay at this amazing place!
Pros:

I do not have enough words for De Vere Tortworth Court - it is a beautiful place to be.

From the moment I walked through the doors the team were all amazing and they made me feel right at home.

My room was great, comfortable and I did sleep as best as I could bearing in mind it was sweltering hot during my stay.
The housekeeping team had done the absolute best they could with Dyson cool air room fan and it sure helped.
It is a shame one cannot one the windows wide for a breeze once it has cooled down outside - but I do understand why.

Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully cooked, the food I had outside and in the Atrium was also fabulous and relaxing at Gin O'clock in the sunshine was quite simply wonderful!

The grounds are breathtaking and so very well looked after.

My thanks to each and every one of you - I will return.

Breakfast was hearty and wholesome. Didn't enjoy the staff's political badges, totally unnecessary.
Pros:

Breakfast was hearty and wholesome. Dinner and the staff in the restaurant were excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Staff on the whole were friendly and helpful. Lovelly grounds and well maintained. Excellent gardeners.

Cons:

The room was hot with inadequate cooling. There was no view unless you were seven foot tall. Some of the staff wore what might be described as spolitical badges which we considered unprofessional and could deter or offend some guests. Really surprised that the coprorate image was tarnished in this way. Staff can display their alliegences in their own time.

Soggiorno da favola
Pros:

Cons:

Nulla, tutto perfetto

Lovely hotel for a short break but do not expect 5* rooms or facilities.
Pros:

Breakfast was good however main breakfast room was very crowded and the tables were very close together which did spoil the overall experience.
Lovely terrace for drinks and eating however the menu was quite limited especially for a longer stay.

Cons:

The rooms were very hot. We could only leave one window open so it was very difficult to create any air flow.
We were in the furthest room away from the main hotel and with no outside space so spent most of the evening on the terrace area to keep cool. It wouldn’t take too much effort to put some table and chairs in the courtyard areas.
Some of the areas away from the hotel would benefit from a tidy up by the grounds team. They would make beneficial outdoor spaces for hotel guests on the evenings when the hotel is busy with proms and weddings.
Also complimentary water in the hotel would have been appreciated during such a hot spell.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel and received one room clean after the first night which was a little strange.
Lastly , we booked the hotel because it had a swimming pool but it turned out that we had to book when we wanted to swim which really isn’t practical when you’re in the area to enjoy local events and sightseeing.

Pros:

It was lovely beautiful building and surroundings

Cons:

That every weekend they host multiple weddings and our room was near the orangery and we were kept up each night until midnight by loud thumping music which ruined the relaxed spa experience
