Flawed but okay.
Pros:

Traditional Malay kampong style housing, close to nature. Friendly staff.

Cons:

I booked an air conditioned room for double the price of fan only rooms but the air conditioning isn’t really cooling, it’s working but even at the lowest temperature setting it’s not giving out much cool air.
The bath towels carry overly strong perfumes that are irritating to the lung and gave me coughs after I took them out and placed them in the room and slept for a few hours only to woke up with an itchy lung and coughs, eventually I had to open the windows, ventilate and remove the towels to the outside, and the coughs and itchiness stopped.
The horizontal metal bars entrance balcony are dangerously low that I bumped my head onto it, lucky the injury is minimal, but I lost balance at the impact.

Chatičky nabízejí soukromí, jsou tam jezírka se žábami a rybkami, možnost praní

Cons:

Chatka extrémně malá a tmavá, vevnitř je hrozné vlhko a dusno, větrák hlučný a špinavý, u sprchy nefunguje odtok tak jak má, veškerá voda se nahrne pod umyvadlo, kde zůstane

Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable. The main attraction, Pantai Cenang, is a little far from the location and costs around RM6–8 to reach by Grab. However, Pantai Tengah is within walking distance and is a beautiful, less crowded beach.

Cons:

I wasn't a fan of the self-service concept. When travelling, it is nice to return to a fresh, clean room every day rather than having to do any cleaning. Although a broom was provided for the floor, there was no practical way to clean or change the bed sheets. Because of this, the self-service approach was not very appealing.
Another downside was the housekeeping policy. The bed sheets are only changed after staying at least three nights. It would have been much better if they were changed every two nights instead.

Pros:

If you would like to find yourself in an authentic and cinematic Malaysian scene, you would love the place. Absolutely amazing staff, quite and peaceful place. Distance to the beach is a bit further than you can find in the description. Generally location is great! Loved our one day stay.

Peaceful stay on Langkawi
Pros:

We enjoyed and extended our stay at T Star Cottages, which was good value for Langkawi, it was also quiet and peaceful. Slightly removed from Pantai Cenang, but very easily accessible by moped and the distance is walkable in 20-30 minutes. Located near a few good quality and reasonably priced restaurants and easy walking distance to Pantai Tengah beach which was fairly quiet. Team were friendly and available during the designated reception hours. The room was sparsely equipped and the shower cold but it was possible to rent additional amenities such as fridges, hairdryer, mosquito net, iron and additional fan if you so desired.

Cons:

Although not an issue, or strictly enforced, the number of signs detailing rules and information is slightly overwhelming on arrival which contrasts the otherwise peaceful setting.

Only small, but the linens and towels were both made of a similar microfibre material which was not especially effective at drying or particularly comfortable for sleeping in.

Место супер! Пляж рядом, куча заведений и кафешек. Спокойно, чисто, комфортно, хорошо! Персонал супер.

ЭКО отель, все зелено, чисто, куча живности

Нет горячей воды, но в такую жару это нормально и реально освежает!

Les écureuils et singes, la présence animale est fabuleuse.

Cons:

Les draps sont un tissus type plaid. Même les coussins et c’est tres désagréable.
