Pros:

The location was great, very close to the shopping district, lots of restaurants and other food options. There was a very nice roof terrace with a warm foot bath to soak in after hours of walking in the city

Would stay again
Pros:

The property was amazing 5 start all the way. Close to high class shops and the main restaurant district and steps away from Gion. With a beautiful onsen and roof top bar.
I would not hesitate staying again.
Rooms were beautiful and well appointed and thoughtful.
The view from our room not so much. But everything else was 100%.

Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace and the complimentary drink in the evening.

Cons:

Nothing. Would definitely stay here again if ever lucky enough to return to Kyoto.

Traditional yet modern, great location and stunning roof top terrace
Pros:

The roof top terrace provides the perfect backdrop to enjoy your free welcome drink each evening, complete with a hot water foot bath! The rooms are small but are comfortable and the decor is traditional yet modern. Free hot and cold drinks and ice lollies available in the reception, along with all the usual toiletries that Japanese hotels offer customers.
