Very disappointing experience. We were denied accommodation after being asked to cancel our Booking.
Pros:

Nothing. Unfortunately, our experience was negative from the moment we arrived due to issues with check-in and accommodation.

Cons:

We arrived at the hotel on time, but the staff refused to accommodate us in the booked room.

Instead, we were asked several times to cancel our reservation through Booking.com and move to another building that did not match the original listing. We were even offered a discount if we agreed to cancel through the platform.

When we refused to cancel our Booking reservation, the check-in process became extremely delayed and we were effectively denied accommodation.

The staff took photos of our passports but still did not provide the room we had booked.

We were traveling with a child and had to leave and urgently find another place to stay.

This was a very stressful experience after a long journey. We expected the property to honor the reservation shown on Booking.com.

I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Hotel lady's heartwarming,brilliant hospitality and unforgettable care made us feel just like family

What I loved (The Highlight of our stay):
The staff lady here is absolutely amazing! Because of her outstanding hospitality, I fell in love with this hotel. We stayed here for a total of four nights—our first night was before heading to Sapa, and we gladly returned for another three nights after coming back from Ninh Binh.

She is incredibly smart, professional, and her management skills truly touched our hearts. As proof of how thoughtfully she manages her work, I’ve attached a photo of a note she wrote to us in our own native language! By the end of our stay, she felt just like family. On our final night, despite the rainy weather, she helped us arrange a very reasonably priced airport transfer, assisted with our heavy luggage, and stood out in the rain waving goodbye to us until we were out of sight.

Cons:

What could be improved:
Our first single-night stay was absolutely pleasant and flawless. However, when we returned from Ninh Binh for our second stay, we were assigned a different room, and that particular room was unfortunately a little dusty.

Cons:

Réservation annulée en dernière minute quand nous nous sommes présentés à l’hôtel. Une des deux chambres était occupée par un autre client malade. Nous ne voulions pas dormir à 5 dans une même chambre initialement prévue pour 3.
Je ne peux donc pas donner d’avis sur l’établissement.

Pros:

Great hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and an excellent location. The staff were especially accommodating and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience and I’d definitely stay here again.

Very friendly hosts and great location – but avoid the laundry service
Pros:

- Extremely friendly owner who even speaks German and invited us to breakfast
- Very central location – easy to walk to many sights, yet still quiet
- The room was very spacious and clean
- We had a small issue with the toilet, but it was fixed quickly

Cons:

We would not recommend the laundry service. Even though we sorted our clothes by color, everything was washed together and got discolored. Stains were still there after washing. We even had to fold the laundry ourselves, and for that it was definitely too expensive.
