Wonderful location, but wouldn’t stay there again.
Pros:

Location was perfect. Courtyard adorable. Front desk staff was nice.

Cons:

after we checked out they claimed there was damage, it was NOT there when we left the room. Water pressure and temperature were spotty. Property was clean but the towels in our room were not, under and around the bed not clean. And the ac unit leaked brown onto the wall.

Pros:

Terrible! Dirty uncomfortable room unfriendly staff (outside the girl at check in) we are blown away on how awful the facility was. We booked 4 nights, left after the first and had to eat the 3 other nights as non refundable. We have traveled the world, stayed in hostels and this venue was/is #1 as the worst. Bugs in room/door didn’t lock on patio/hair all over bathroom/leaky faucet/covered in dust/stains on sheets. AND when we left after one night..didn’t even question why leaving..buyer beware!!! Just awful

Pros:

It was in a great location and loads of character. The front reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The rooms were quite small, we were unable to get channels in the TV and it would be helpful if there were hooks or additional towel rail in the bathroom.

Pros:

Really good location and quirky rooms and courtyard.

Cons:

Initial room had no windows and it took a lot of haggling to get them to show my a different room.
There was no bar or laundry.

Overall we would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to family and friends.
Pros:

Room was very spacious. Could have used another chair in the room other than the desk chair. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location was very convenient for walking around in the historic French Quarter and just a couple of blocks from the French Market.

Cons:

The toilet area in the bathroom was very tight. Would have been nice if pocket doors had been used for bathroom and toilet access instead of small double doors.

Interesting history and close to everything!

Cons:

Room was not able to gain entry for 30 minutes (there’s a trick to it but only the maintenance man knew), room wasn’t cleaned properly and staff didn’t seem to care. Housekeeping also went into our room when do not disturb sign was on door, even after we specifically told them not to come in.
