A clean room with a great view!
Pros:

The view from our room was spectacular. Our kids enjoyed the pool, in the evening. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean!

Cons:

The bathroom was seriously outdated and small. I was also not expecting a 'motel', when it calls itself a hotel. We found the price point to be quite steep.

The showers and pillows aren’t the best in the world, but the amazing staff and quiet location make up for it.

Good for the long weekend, would consider staying again room changes were made b/c it's expensive.

We really liked the pool and the view. Sitting by the pool was nice to talk with other travelers and the view is perfect! The size of the room was very nice, and the staff accommodated a later check out for us when we encountered some trouble in Acadia and couldn't get back in time.

Cons:

The bed looks very inviting, however, it is extremely uncomfortable and the shower head barely spit out any water and when it did, it was lukewarm at best. After hiking Cadillac Mountain sunrise at 3am we were looking forward to hot showers after the long hike and the hotel didn't deliver. If the staff could better familiarize themselves with the Arcadia and Bar Harbor and to share with guests how to get around and when to visit that would have been helpful. Several hotel workers were unsure of how to answer our questions, although they were all very pleasant.

Perfect place to end your daily adventures! Quaint and quiet.
Pros:

Loved the location- tucked away off the road with a beautiful bay/ocean view. There was an outdoor living area and pool that allowed the long day to end comfortably. It wqs simple, clean, and just quaint - not super fancy but for those spending 98% of their day outside, it was the perfect place to land each day. Would book again!

Cons:

The shower curtain kept attacking me while showering!

Great stay overall.
Pros:

Loved everything about the location, the view, staff, and breakfast!

Cons:

The shower head and pressure was a big downer for me. I have thick hair and so does my sister. There was no way that either of us would be able to wash it with the shower head and lack of pressure.

Be one of the first in the US to see the sunrise-stay here!
Pros:

This place is so unique! History of the place as well as rooms that are unlike others make it a great place to visit. The room was beyond a clean I expect, especially when there is sand in the area. Having a lighthouse within very easy walking distance was fun.
