A PIECE OF ART
Pros:

It is historical and calm hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Great location, close to Suez Canal Museum which is also fantastic place.
Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Ther is a great difficulty to go out from the hotel to the
Parking and to return back.THe door is closed no body there !!! .I muust phone anyone from the security
evrytim to open the door for me it takes a time while I'm standing waiting in the street. There must be a solution for this strange situation.

Magnifique hôtel! Les chambres sont splendides, la décoration magnifique, le cadre exceptionnel. Le personnel est adorable, nous avons très bien diné et le petit déjeuner était absolument parfait. Un bel endroit à découvrir, je le recommande sans hésiter!

I liked the hotel’s location, as it is close to the main tourist attractions. I also appreciated the idea of transforming a historic rest house into a hotel, with a relatively successful attempt to adapt the facilities and services to match the historical character of the place.

Cons:

I was disappointed by the low level of cleanliness. There was heavy dust on the windows, the chairs around the pool were not clean enough, and the gym also needed better cleaning. I also noticed that the restaurant did not offer an open buffet, even though the nightly rate is relatively high. In addition, housekeeping only cleaned the rooms upon request.

- The room and Maison; it felt like going back in time (high ceilings, room and restaurant design and feel ...etc)
- Cleaness
- location: it's close to everything (old catholic church , suez canal museum, fish restaurants )

Cons:

- There should be more breakfast options or at least add yoghurt and fruit bowl to the current set menu.
- Frequent drain cleaning/unclogging should be done.

A memorable experience at our 20th wedding anniversary
Pros:

We went there on our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel was very clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming we were welcomed and taken care of by Mr Mahmoud Teleb and the team. The space of the room is large. The food is reasonably priced and high quality. The hotel is a historical space with a wealth of Egyptian and world history, attached to it is the Museum of the Suez Canal.

Cons:

Some of the rooms are overlooking the Main Street, which meant some noise at night but not much given the thick stone walls and isolated windows.

Excellent staff, great overall experience
Pros:

Great location, right next to the Suez Canal museum and close to restaurants

I loved the staff! They were all super helpful with all our requests, and extremely kind, attentive and friendly.

The hotel rooms and facilities were clean, and rooms were comfortably appointed.

Definitely worth trying their Turkish coffee and molten cake while sitting by the pool.

Cons:

Breakfast could be improved; set menu was provided instead of open buffet due to the limited number of hotel occupants.
