Amazing location on the cliffs over the cornish coast. Elegant facilities and professional staff.
Everything except ongoing building works
Building works and live pop music from 21.00 to 23.00 one evening
It was absolutely amazing and we had the best time, everyone was polite and friendly, the beach near the hotel was something off a postcard. Really pleasant stay
Love the hotel
Building works but inevitable
Everything was stunning .. the best location and hotel i have ever stayed in.
The staff could not do enough for us through the whole trip any time any day.
Nothing
Our sea view was a proper view, gorgeous from our window! Patio for drinks and dinner was excellent, room was a great size, bathroom was also roomy, they had a dedicated boot room for our hiking clothes, had a super cool “vinyl” area, and really unique accessories around the main area like a table that was a carnival ride cart
Band played under our room until late and men were working info front of my window so I couldn’t keep my curtains open for my sea view for very long
The location was fabulous, the hotel was clean, friendly staff, food was lovely
Parking was a bit of a nightmare, building works going on which I wasn’t aware of before booking
Location
Attentive staff, although check in not overly welcoming
Location.
Great sunset
Building work alongside but did not disturb
The Location is hard to beat. Just stunning. Great Food selection.
No outside pool and current building work although this did not spoil our stay.
Great room, lovely food and a fabulous view
No dislikes at all
The staff and the views were exceptional
Slightly tired looking furniture in the rooms
Location and room fantastic
Breakfast was very poor , more travelodge than anywhere near 4*
Short of staff waiting in breakfast area and not attentive .
Full English breakfast was very very poor .
The hotel has a wonderful location and great facilities, including a swimming pool.
Our stay was affected by a wedding taking place at the hotel. We were only informed on arrival that parts of the hotel would not be available to guests. Although the restaurant was open in the evening, the music was so loud that we decided to drive elsewhere for dinner instead.
When we returned at around 10 pm, the music was still very loud. Our room was on the first floor next to the staircase, and the noise made it difficult to relax. We spoke to a member of staff, who came to our room, agreed that the noise was excessive, and said he would see what could be done and come back to us. Unfortunately, no one returned. After waiting around 30 minutes, we went back to reception, but there was no one there. The music finally stopped at midnight.
What disappointed me most was that the hotel sent several pre-arrival emails, yet never mentioned that a wedding would be taking place. Had I known in advance that there would be restricted access to parts of the hotel and loud music late into the evening, I would have booked elsewhere. It felt unfair not to be given that information before our stay.
