The property will be renovating from 9 April to 31 March 2027, the exterior will be affected but works will only take place during working hours, and every effort will be made to minimise the noise and disturbance.

Pros:

Great setting looking out over Mounts Bay to Lands End. Spacious reception areas and good access.

Der Service vor Ort war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die Lage ist toll.

Aktuell Baustelle - wir wurden erst informiert kurz vor Ankunft nicht bei Buchung.
Unser erstes Zimmer hatte ein uraltes Bad, nicht wie abgebildet renoviert.
Eine sehr freundliche Dame an der Rezeption hat sich um einen sofortigen Zimmerwechsel bemüht. Bedauerlicherweise war auch das nicht zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Das Kopfteil des Bettes war extrem staubig und das Bad war zwar augenscheinlich neuer, aber es gab Schimmel an Decke und Wänden.
Wir haben nach der ersten Nacht ausgecheckt, da man sich unter diesen Umständen keinesfalls länger in so einen Raum aufhalten möchte. Bei Abreise wurde uns versprochen wir bekommen bis Ende der Woche eine Rückmeldung, ob uns die Kosten zumindest für die zweite Nacht erstattet werden.
Wir haben nichts gehört und erst bei Nachfrage und mehreren Nachrichten inkl. Beweisbildern wurde angeboten die Angelegenheit nachzuverfolgen. Bis heute haben wir kein Entgegenkommen des Hotels erhalten. Booking war so freundlich uns zu zumindest ein kleines Goodie für die nächste Buchung in unser Wallet zu legen.

The hotel was, over all, a wonderful place to stay. The staff were truly exceptional- they couldn’t do enough for us. 10
Pros:

Superb location. The bar, restaurant and spa were wonderful.

Cons:

The ongoing building works. Although necessary and will make the hotel even better, we arrived to a building site.
