Comfortable accommodation for 1 night

I like where it is. The room had what you need for a short stay.

Cons:

The room needed airing. It was clean but musty smelling. The chairs in the room while needed for the room do not allow people with back issues and comfort at all. They made it worse.

Everything! I stay here every couple of months or so and I always request the same room ...It is always ready , clean and well equipped ...the staff are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble ... I requested the open fire be lit in the common room so I could enjoy a red wine in front of it ...This was done immediately and was so lovely and comforting on a cold winter's day !...

Pros:

It was nice enough for a basic motel. Definitely nothing fancy but bed was comfy, shower was good, wifi was strong, tv didn’t connect to anything (just local free do air) though so byo things to use streaming if that’s something to note, Grounds/gardens were lovely, check in was easy and you couldn’t really hear other guests even though they were booked to capacity apparently. Plus dog friendly and late check out

There were five cockroaches which we kept putting outside 😬

A quaint motel set back from the main road, beautiful views from our room.
Pros:

The heating and hot shower was greatly appreciated on our rainy arrival (snow overnight). Quiet location back off the main road. Close to many attractions - we saw lyrebirds at the redwood forest an absolute highlight of our stay.

Cons:

Signposting of reception would have been helpful. Room hadn’t been vacuumed before our arrival.
