Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.

This was our favorite hotel in Peru! The rooms are spacious, beautiful and had the best beds. The hotel is surrounded by mountains, and the rooms are placed in small buildings, with large windows and balconies, so the views at any time of the day are stunning. The common areas are great too, with warm and cozy lounging places inside and outside, around a firepit. Food -both breakfast and dinner- were delicious, we wished we had stayed longer than one night. There's nothing really at walking distance, but we loved the fact that it's rather isolated and all you see and hear is (mostly) nature. Location is great as a base to visit the Sacred Valley and a short drive to Ollantaytambo to get the train to Machu Picchu.
There's a spa, but unfortunately we couldn't visit as it's closed on Sundays. There was an electricity cut when we arrived that lasted a few hours. That's apparently a common thing in the area, nothing to do about it. Luckily there is a generator, but was very close to our room (at the back of the property), so the noise all those hours was a bit of a bummer. Make sure to ask for a room far away from the generator just in case ;).
The restaurant is lovely and light, but acoustics are bad so it gets very noisy. The space would benefit from rugs, curtains or other soft materials to soften the sounds.

Peaceful location
Not very clean. The rooms are dated and not very clean. The restaurant shelves are very dusty.
La tranquilidad de la zona.
Muchos mosquitos, en las puertas se acumulaban los mosquitos. No sé si se pueda ver la forma de erradicar o disminuir la concentración de los mosquitos. El servicio de recojo al aeropuerto tuvo un costo doble a lo que una unidad ajena al hotel nos cobró al retorno. Hubo una mala coordinación por parte del hotel al enviar solo un auto cuando ya se le había pedido un transporte para 6 personas lo que originó que esperemos en el aeropuerto por más tiempo a pesar que las coordinaciones se realizaron con anticipación.
El alojamiento está un poco alejado del centro de Urubamba, y por ese lado no hay bullicio. Me gustó las instalaciones del hotel y la variedad del buffet desayuno.
- La habitación es un poco antiguo y el baño muy básico (para el precio que uno paga).

Breakfast was ok, but missed gluten-free options.
The hotel has nice activities (personalised dinner, picnic etc), but not advertised anywhere and has to be booked with one day in advance. As we came for one day - we naturally couldn’t enjoy any of them. Worth giving more visibility on these options as it will also help the hotel to engage their guests.
Location is OK for those who come to enjoy sacred valley and nature - but there is absolutely nothing walkable around and Urubamba is not a nice town. The restaurant for dinner is overpriced.

Hotel ótimo, lindo, no meio dos andes peruanos, com boa infraestrutura. A localização não é central.

Honestly, it was amazing. Beautiful location, nice team and great value for money…the room was spacious, the breakfast was great, the garden is well taken care of. I would highly recommend.
