Friendly host, great location but lack of privacy and security made the stay uncomfortable.
Pros:

The property was beautiful, and Scott was a very friendly and attentive host who checked in with us regularly. The location was convenient for the beach and the activities we had planned. It’s a short drive to the beach, although I wouldn’t consider it comfortably walkable if you’re carrying a lot of beach gear.

Cons:

The biggest concern for us was the layout and lack of privacy. The rental was the back portion of the owner’s home, and there were no locks on the doors separating the spaces—only a pocket door. Although we had our own private bathroom, I never felt completely comfortable or secure given the lack of locks, separation and privacy. There is no kitchen, but does have a small refrigerator and a bar-height table with chairs. The owner was also using his garage just outside our window during our stay.

This setup may work well for some travelers, but it wasn’t what we expected from a private retreat. Had we known the living arrangement beforehand, we would have chosen different accommodations. Scott did follow up with us afterward, which I appreciated. Ultimately, while the host was kind and the property was lovely, the lack of privacy and security made this a stay we wouldn’t repeat.

We had the most comfortable and relaxing weekend staying here at Tropical Retreat Close to Beach.
Pros:

Scott was an accomodating Host. Everything was fabulous... decor inside and out was beautiful. He even had a basket of lemons waiting for us by the door. There was a hair dryer, magnifying mirror (for the ladies), coffee pods, creamer, plastic utensils, paper plates, etc. It is the perfect little cottage. I won't hesitate to come back!

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like. I do have one suggestion: a ceiling fan, or tower fan (for the menapause ladies, LOL)

Very clean, cozy, and private. It really felt like home, and I would definitely stay here again

This place is very clean, neat, and private. The host gave us lots of privacy but also made us feel very welcome. It really felt like home, and we had everything we needed. I really enjoyed staying here.

Cons:

The only downside was that it was a little warm. We could only open the window a little because there was no bug screen, so there wasn’t much fresh air.

Pros:

Bedroom and bathroom were nicely decorated and impeccably clean. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and close to the beach. Scott, the host, was friendly and had a great, upbeat energy. I hope to book this unit again sometime soon!

Scott was a great host. Not far at all from the beach and there were some really good resteraunt options near by.

Cons:

Needs a small space heater. It can get pretty chilly at night but luckily Scott provided us with extra blankets.

A Charming Getaway
Pros:

This is such a wonderful oasis! Quiet street and wonderfully appointed room and bathroom. There is a coffee maker, little fridge and a microwave. Also, a washer and dryer at your disposal. The bed is very comfy. Beautiful towels in the bathroom. The outside area is pretty. The host made himself available in case anything was needed. I had a delightful stay! I will be returning.

Cons:

Everything was perfect! There is nothing to dislike in this tropical retreat close to the beach. Even the weather was excellent. I urge you to visit. :)

Fijne schone locatie met zeer vriendelijke host
Pros:

Het is een gezellige en schone kamer. Apart van de kamer is een badkamer met douche en toilet.
Scott is een zeer aardige host. Hij geeft veel tips en is erg gastvrij.

Cons:

Alles beviel. Ik dacht dat het vervelend zou zijn om bij iemand in huis te verblijven, maar je hebt gewoon je eigen opgang, dus prima.
