We hadden echt een prachtige kamer met rooftop. Alles is brandschoon. De service in Lonno Lodge is van hoog niveau.
Ontbijt helemaal goed (vooral de yoghurt is zalig). Drankjes prima verzorgd.
Echt een topplek.
Silvia en Aldo staan echt voor hun zaak en zijn enthousiaste mensen.
De twee honden zijn leukerds en keurig opgevoed.
We deden een excursie naar Hell’s Kitchen; heel indrukwekkend.
Voor ons duidelijk hét adres in Watamu: Lonno Lodge. Tot de volgende keer!
Op deze accommodatie iets op te merken hebben, is eigenlijk onmogelijk.
Omdat het een accommodatie met een gering aantal kamers is, is eten a la carte en op gevarieerde tijdstippen niet mogelijk. Doch dit stoorde ons niet. Watamu heeft een diversiteit aan leuke restaurants.
Staff estremamente gentile e premuroso. Posto magnifico e struttura impeccabile. Siamo stati benissimo: grazie Silvia e Aldo per l'accoglienza e congratulazioni per la passione che ci mettete ogni giorno!
Struttura perfettamente conforme alla descrizione e pulitissima. Piscina stupenda con vista mare, isolata dal resto degli alberghi e dal caos, ma facilmente raggiungibile con tuk tuk (5-10 minuti dal centro di Watamu). Con la bassa marea si può fare una bella passeggiata fino agli stabilimenti principali (calcolare un’ora più o meno). Ristorante molto buono e proprietari simpatici e attenti ai loro clienti. L’albergo ha poche stanze e dunque una capienza di ospiti limitata: la calma e il relax sono garantiti!
Its a small paradise along the coast. Everyone is professional, helpfull and kind. Big rooms, delicious food and cocktails. Lovely swimmingpool. Everything super clean and safe.

I cannot say enough positive things about this beautiful boutique hotel. It's a wonderfully designed oasis overlooking the crystal clear sea and is worth every penny. The service is spot on, the food is delicious and the setting is idyllic. Silvia and Aldo have created somewhere truly special.

Beautiful place, very chic and private. The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We had the most relaxing holidays and will definitely be back.

Beach access requires beach shoes during low tide, and not really accessible during high tide.
Beautiful property built by the architect owner using local materials and styles. It is one of the most serene and relaxing places I’ve ever stayed with a view out over the rock to the sea. The staff were friendly, professional and super helpful without ever being overbearing - it was a luxury hotel that still felt like home!
We enjoyed a beautiful walk out over the reef, rockpooling on our way to lunch, and a trip to the local Gede ruins, but we equally enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the calm and beautiful surroundings.
And the meals were delicious - lovingly prepared local ingredients with lots of variety.
Nothing negative - just to note that there was AC in our room - although the natural breeze is good, but given the property is set up to be as ecological as possible at night the lower power means it won’t run super cold if you’re looking for that.

Amazing lodge. Beautiful in every details, the house is gorgeous and comfortable, the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere and delicious food, the swimming pool is so beautiful with a sea view, there are so many hidden peaceful place to stay reading or contemplating the nature. Silvia made our stay a perfect one, she organised a wonderful day on a boat and told us where to go and what to see. You cant have a better stay in Watamu.

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt in der wunderschönen Lonno Lodge! Das gesamte Hotel ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und strahlt eine besondere Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus.
Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche, zuvorkommende und stets hilfsbereite Personal. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Silvia und Aldo waren bei Fragen auch immer gleich da und für nette Gespräche zu haben.
Auch kulinarisch wurden wir auf höchstem Niveau verwöhnt: Die Menüs waren durchweg hervorragend – kreativ, liebevoll angerichtet und wahnsinnig lecker. Jeder Gang war ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis! Ebenso war das Frühstück liebevoll angerichtet und perfekt ausgewählt.
Für uns stimmt hier einfach alles! Wir können Lonno uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und überlegen schon, wann wir wieder kommen können. Alles Liebe für das ganze Team!
Propreté on the océan. One leaves the street and enters Lonno world. Starting from the kind Massi guardians, smiling at you. Unique architecture fitting with the landscape. Room was extrêmely confortable, on two levels, and sound of water and birds outsider. The best thing was the approsch of staff, present at the right moment, extremely kind, giving you the feeling you were at home.
The organisation of my stay was perfectly coordinated by Silvia, and even the excursions or dinners out were suggested to places that became a good memory when back. All transport and guides weren suggested, which made each experience worthwhile.

A little piece of paradise on the Kenyan coast. Our hosts Silvia and Aldo were so welcoming and their staff superbly friendly and helpful. A fabulous place to relax in nature. Rooms are superb, food excellent and ambience for our evening dinners beside the pool was excellent. A place to return to!!
