Guests should kindly note that the property is a popular wedding venue, and as a result there may some noise disturbance in the evening. Nonsmoking hotel. Please note, the bedrooms with attached bathroom are located over four different buildings; the Main Building, Mill House and Jones Building. Please be aware that the rooms in the Main building are above the property's function suite and guests may experience some noise if a function is being held. Guests looking for a quiet stay should call the hotel to check which room they have been allocated. Kindly note the property cannot process payments from American Express credit cards, and an alternative card will be required. Please note that reservation of 5 or more rooms is considered a group reservation and group terms apply. These are available on request.

Room was delux double spacious and clean. Food in restaurant was lovely. Staff friendly and helpful.

It was so peaceful and very relaxing sitting by the river watching the fish

Dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night was excellent.
Sunday lunch was OK, meat was nicely cooked, but a shame the vegetables were not served separately as it made the meal too large.

I liked the fact that we were in a separate block from the pub. The room was clean and comfy. The chefs biscuits were amazing and there was a bottle of water for us both.

Massively over priced, weird head board in room, uncomfortable mattress, not worth £250.

Fusty smell to bed sheets and pillow cases , room was hot , had a fan but wasn’t much use no power
Breakfast service was a let down as they forgot our order and waited over an hour, although breakfast itself was good quality , had issue with the shower suddenly stopping then restarting about 2 minutes later room 26

The water pressure in the bathroom was very low, not sure if anything can be done about that?
We didn't eat at the hotel but wanted a night cap when we returned at 10.15pm. The bar area was closing down and when we asked for a drink we were told that the tills had been switched off as it was bank holiday? Disappointing to not have been told about early closing when we arrived.

Being woken at around 6am by one of the bin lorries. Then being woken by another one just as I got off to sleep.
