Great hotel, never had any problems before when we stayed until this time
Pros:

The property is in a great location, always clean every time I’ve stayed, got the essentials that you require and even though there’s no food facilities it is in close proximity to some great places to eat

Cons:

This time when we stayed at the property we booked Monday to Friday but left on Wednesday as other guests were had us up all night due to them fighting with each other within their rooms causing lots of noise Monday and Tuesday. No fault of the owners of the hotel but we couldn’t stay any longer as the kids and ourselves couldn’t get a sleep

I did not stay, i was shown 2 rooms as the first one we went in had dry noodles on a chair, also on the floor next to the bed with a lovely big slug trail.
Carpets in both rooms were dirty with spots of white paint on, all furniture was shabby and looked dirty even though i was assured both rooms had been cleaned.
Beds not good matress dirty.
Second room had the samefaults as the first, also marked shower room floor, i asked the guy what it was he told me ckeaning detergant had done it, i dont agree it was sticky under your feet, toulet sink and showers in both rooms are dated and dirty looking, toilets not very clean. The building had the same carpet on the stairs which did look slightly cleaner than in the 2 rooms i was shown. There was no lounge area which was not advertised, no manager in the building so you had to go 2 doors away to the calypso hotel if you needed anything also not stated in advert. Hotel has artex all way through on walls in the rooms and hall landing and stairs, very old design which makes me wonder has it been tested for asbestos???
And to top it all the guy who was checking us in when i told him it was not to standard he told me to request my money back from booking.com, and they have not responded to booking .com and i am expected to accept it. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING. THIS PLACE IS DIRTY. RUN DOWN AND NEEDS A REFURB AND PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO CLEAN.
DO NOT STAY THERE.

An absolute filthy property rotten carpet banister on stairs was sticky never cleaned and falling apart. Windows not secure therefore not sealed properly could hear everything from outside
