My stay was exactly what I needed! I had a 20-hour layover in China both on the way to my destination and on the way back. When I was heading out, I was full of energy and went to explore Chengdu. But on the way back, I just wanted a quiet place to rest and wait for my next flight—and this hotel was perfect for that.
I booked the hotel and they offered free transportation from the airport, which was super helpful. I arrived around 6 a.m., and they kindly let me check in early. I mentioned I needed to go into the city to grab a few things, and they were amazing—picked me up at the hotel, gave me time to shower and change, then drove me to the metro station. When I returned, I called them and they picked me up from the station. Later that day, they also took me back to the airport. All of this was included in the price of the stay!
The staff was so nice. The owner, who was in contact with me via text and phone, spoke English, while the rest of the team didn’t—but we still managed to communicate well using a translation app. Everyone was incredibly kind and sweet.
As a woman traveling alone, I was a bit unsure at first—especially since the area around the hotel looked a little sketchy on the way there—but everything turned out fine. Once I checked in, I felt completely safe and comfortable.

The road to the hotel
From the airport was closed do to construction of a new highway. I had to take a taxi all the way around the entire airport (40 mins) to travel 5 miles.

The hotel was okay for the price, but parts of the room were quite dirty, and the floors were very cold, which was uncomfortable. The location was not convenient – quite far from the city, and the airport was 15–20 minutes away by car. The bathroom, particularly the shower, was impractical to use, which affected the overall experience.
