Everything
Perfect for one night before or after airport
We ordered a pizza from the restaurant and it was extremely oily. Not very nice
We only spent 1 night and the service was exceptional. Picked up from the airport after a long flight delay by Aagya, he was very friendly and made sure we were settled in our rooms quickly. Taking our breakfast order the night before meant food was ready for heading out post checkout for our next flight. He organised our taxi and was a real asset to the hotel.
Food was freshly made and delicious.
Our son ordered room service as we survived late and was very complimentary about it
Rooms were large clean and perfect location close to the airport.
Nothing!
The staff was very cooperative and traveller friendly. All cuisine Breakfast was tasteful
Minor fixes in drains was required.
The cleanliness
Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross. Das Bett war bequem. Das Badezimmer war auch sehr schön. Zudem war das Personal auch sehr nett. Es war alles perfekt.
Comfortable rooms and great location proximity to the airport! Quiet neighbourhood and had aircon. Very clean and very helpful staff as well. Highly recommend!
Nothing
The room size is generous, and the room design is well thought out and comfortable. Most of the staff members were polite, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. However, I feel the night staff could benefit from additional training to improve the overall guest experience. A special mention to Supriya at the front desk, who was exceptionally courteous, helpful, and professional. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist made a noticeable difference during my stay.
The biggest issue during my stay was the door alarm system and the resulting noise ( a common problem with all hotels near the Tribhuvan Airport) . Many guests seemed unaware of how to properly stop the beeping sound when closing their doors, so they repeatedly slammed the doors in an attempt to make the noise stop. Unfortunately, the acoustics of the building amplified every slam.
The sound was not a normal door-closing noise. Because of the echoing corridors, each slam reverberated throughout the hotel and often sounded like a loud bang or small explosion. This happened late at night, early in the morning, and at various times in between. As a result, I struggled to get proper sleep during my stay. Being suddenly startled awake by such loud noises makes it difficult to relax and fall back asleep.
I understand that the beeping system is likely intended as a security feature, but if guests do not understand how to use it correctly, it ends up creating constant disturbance for everyone else. A security feature should improve the guest experience, not unintentionally cause stress and sleep disruption.
Another concern was the lack of an elevator. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I felt uncomfortable watching them carry very heavy luggage, including suitcases weighing around 30 to 32 kg, up several flights of stairs. That is a significant physical burden for anyone. It also raises concerns about safety, as a fall or accident while carrying such weight could result in serious injury. There is also the risk of damage to guests’ luggage if something were to slip or fall.
I appreciate the effort and professionalism of the staff, and my concern is not with them at all. Rather, I feel the hotel should consider a safer and more practical solution for handling heavy luggage, whether through a service lift, luggage elevator, or another alternative.
