Pleasant stay but noise a problem
Pros:

Great location, lovely staff. Charming decor.

Cons:

Lovely receptionist Anna welcomed us warmly. Decor was rustic and charming and the location was quiet. A lovely tea selection which was good and everything clean and well kept.
No pillow protectors on the pillows which is a basic so that wasn’t good.
There are signs about noise etc but unfortunately during our one night stay the Chinese people above us took no notice and at just gone 5 a.m onwards they started banging around and talking very loudly and of course, showering and bathing etc. If I had had a stick I would have banged on the ceiling!
We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on that.

Perfect to see kirkjufell
Pros:

Staff were extremely nice, the area is pretty quiet, the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Shower size was a bit small, and could here conversations from the hallway (wasn't an issue at night, everyone were quiet).

We really enjoyed our stay and kudos to Evelyn and Anna for being great hosts and trip planners!
Pros:

Everything was excellent, clean, comfortable beds. It was also great we could use the dining room with their own plates/knives/glasses for our own meals. But would like to especially highlight how helpful Evelyn and Anna were in providing suggestions about sightseeing - for example, they took the time to explain us in detail what we can see on Snafelsness Peninsula, and give us a step-by-step itinerary for the next leg of our trip to Akureryi which deviated a bit from the Ring Road so we could see very charming town (Stykkisholmur) and several other attractions which we would have surely missed otherwise. So, Evelyn and Anna - many thanks again for your kindness and hospitality!

Pros:

Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Check-In und Check-Out waren sehr unkompliziert. In der Nähe (1min zu Fuß) gibt es ein Cafe das gutes Abendessen bietet. Billard und Schach stehen kostenlos in der Lobby/Gemeinschaftsbereich zur Verfügung. Frühstück enthält alles was man benötigt, auch vegetarische Optionen und Obst und Gemüse - wir waren damit sehr zufrieden. Vom Hotel aus kann man wenige Meter ans Meer gehen und hat einen tollen Ausblick auf den Kirkjufell.

Cons:

Etwas hellhörig, hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

Bien pour une nuit
Pros:

Nous avons été bien accueilli par le personnel de l'hôtel qui a même pris le temps de nous recommander les lieux à visiter autour de l'hôtel. Nous avons également pu amener notre nourriture et manger dans la salle commune. L'hôtel est très bien placé pour voir kirkjufell.

Cons:

La literie grinçait et était inconfortable. Les chambres sont mal isolées et donc il y a beaucoup de bruits à cause des autres clients.
