Ananda Rest-Ella

Мы останавливались здесь вдвоём с женой, и Ананд с супругой встретили нас очень тепло. Они постоянно угощали нас вкусным горячим чаем, интересовались, как у нас дела и нравится ли нам Элла, и с удовольствием общались с нами.
Ананд очень отзывчивый человек — если вам что-то понадобится, достаточно попросить, и он постарается помочь. Благодаря такому отношению чувствовали себя скорее гостями у хороших знакомых, чем просто постояльцами.
Номер оказался очень чистым и просторным - особенно по сравнению с жильём, которое у нас было на юге Шри-Ланки. Кондиционера нет, но в Элле он нам совершенно не понадобился: в горах свежо и прохладно, а потолочного вентилятора было более чем достаточно, в том числе ночью.
Отдельно хочется отметить завтраки. Нам готовили омлет с сосисками, подавали чай и кетуль, а также йогурты. Всё было вкусно и сытно.

We had a fantastic stay at Ananda Rest in Ella. The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable, with cozy beds and hot-water showers—everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

A special mention goes to Mr. Anandha, whose hospitality was truly exceptional. He picked us up from Ella town at midnight and even prepared dinner for us when we arrived. We were incredibly touched by his kindness and warm welcome.

Waking up to the sound of birds singing was such a beautiful experience. The food was top-notch, and the whole place genuinely felt like home.

We will definitely visit again and highly recommend Ananda Rest to anyone visiting Ella!

Mostly it is the place where the guest house is located and how clean the rooms are. Rooms are well organized with essentials and clean. Ananda and his wife were both helpful and always there to assist. Wifi, hotwater available.

Einfach alles! Ruhig gelegen, super freundliche Gastgeber mit mega leckeren Frühstück und Teatime.

Beautiful location, a bit further from the city center (a 7-minute drive and easily doable with a pickMe).
Just like in the photos. Beautiful rooms on the first floor. Comfortable, huge bed, nice hot shower, and very friendly owners. Great breakfast.

So many good things about thiis property!

The room was exactly as shown in the pictures — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, truly going above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. There are so many thoughtful little touches that make you feel at home.

The manager’s father is an absolute sweetheart — always attentive, generous, and ready to help with anything you need.

I recommend this place 300% if you’re looking to escape the noise of the city and immerse yourself in the jungle, surrounded by tea plantations. It’s truly the right address if you want peace and authenticity.

All the main points of interest are not too far away. You just need to enjoy walking a bit — or you can easily call a tuk-tuk if you prefer.

Beautifully presented, friendly host who showed us some nearby sites. Best breakfast we had in SriLanka. Squeaky clean. Beautiful setting in tea plantations, near eucalypt forest.

We are an older couple who enjoy the quiet location outside the city.
