Cons:

They demanded a 3.5% fee for paying by card, contradicting the description on Booking.com. When I brought cash from an ATM, a young female staff member impudently asked me not to take the change—which, by the way, amounted to much more than 3.5% of the bill.

When I asked for something to deal with the mosquitoes in the room, the same staff member told me they did not have anything for mosquitoes and, outrageously, suggested that turning on the air conditioning might “scare” them away. I had had a much better experience in the past at similarly priced accommodation in the Old Quarter.

There was a brown stain on the duvet.

Pros:

I've been in Hanoi 4x already and this hotel has the friendliest receptionists that I encountered. They are very fluent with english, friendly, and helpful. The room is very spaceous and clean too.

The hotel has an elevator although there are still a few stairs in the entrance, but the receptionists are very helpful in carrying our luggages.

The popular souvenir store for Filipinos (Ate Ha's) is just at the street's corner so that's a plus for us too.

Booking a taxi to the airport is also easy with them. They accepted our Philippine peso bills since we don't have a VND cash too.

Highly recommend
Pros:

We had a wonderful experience with this place it made our stay in Hanoi so great. Lovely staff so helpful especially Tao. They will go out of their way to organize your trips and make sure you are comfortable. Hotel is in a very convenient area in old Quarter but quiet.
