Good value for money!
Pros:

Clean, well situated.
Secure parking for our rental car.

Cons:

The only time we found staff at the desk was at checkin(and we had to telephone her when we arrived) and when we had to pay her for an extra night we booked(again, after we texted someone).

Pros:

De kamer was netjes en schoon en ruim. De douche was heerlijk.

Cons:

Onze kaart om de kamer te betreden werkte soms niet meteen. Na 2 à 3 keer pas. Was niet erg maar is een klein aandachtspuntje.

Pros:

Qëndrova katër net në Roots Hotel. Mund të kisha gjetur alternativa shumë më të lira, por zgjodha qëllimisht një hotel me katër yje, duke pritur një nivel të caktuar shërbimi.

Fatkeqësisht, shërbimi ishte shumë i dobët.

Më ishte premtuar parkim, por kur mbërrita më thanë: “Ah, parkimi është vetëm nëse rastësisht ka vend të lirë.” Kjo nuk është ajo që kuptova kur më premtuan parkim.

Dhoma nuk u pastrua çdo ditë. Në fakt, gjatë katër netëve që qëndrova aty, u pastrua vetëm një herë. Sa herë që kërkoja diçka, kishte gjithmonë një justifikim ose një shpjegim tjetër. Frigoriferi në dhomë gjithashtu nuk funksiononte.

Mëngjesi ishte vërtet i turpshëm. Përbëhej nga një omëletë e ftohtë, një vezë e skuqur e zhytur në vaj dhe disa pjata të tjera me ushqime të cilësisë më të ulët dhe më të lirë që mund të imagjinohet. Dukej jashtëzakonisht joapetizues dhe ishte krejtësisht i papranueshëm për një hotel me katër yje.

Kur i kërkova gruas që kalon pjesën më të madhe të ditës duke lëvizur nëpër hotel, dhe që ka një shenjë të vogël në buzën e sipërme, të më ndihmonte të porosisja një taksi, ajo thjesht më tha: “Nuk di si bëhet”, dhe u largua.

Me pak fjalë, stafi nuk duket aspak i interesuar për t’u ofruar shërbim klientëve. Gjatë ditës askush nuk përgjigjet në telefon, ndërsa pasdite nuk ka askënd në recepsion.

Dhoma ishte e pranueshme, por asgjë më shumë.

Kjo nuk është ajo që pres nga një hotel me katër yje, edhe në Shqipëri. Nuk e rekomandoj aspak këtë hotel.

Cons:

I stayed at Roots Hotel for four nights. I could have found much cheaper options, but I deliberately chose a four-star hotel, expecting a certain standard of service.

Unfortunately, the service was very poor.

I was promised parking, but when I arrived I was told, “Oh, that’s only if there happens to be a parking space available.” That is not what I understood when I was promised parking.

The room was not cleaned daily. In fact, it was cleaned only once during my four-night stay. Every time I asked about something, there was a different excuse or explanation. The refrigerator in the room also did not work.

The breakfast was absolutely disgraceful. It consisted of a cold omelette, a fried egg soaked in oil, and a few other plates of food of the lowest and cheapest quality imaginable. It looked extremely unappetizing and was completely unacceptable for a four-star hotel.

When I asked the woman who spends most of the day walking around the hotel, and who has a small scar on her upper lip, to help me order a taxi, she simply told me, “I don’t know how to do that,” and walked away.

In short, the staff simply do not seem interested in providing service. During the day, nobody answers the phone, and in the afternoon there is nobody at reception.

The room itself was adequate, but nothing more.

This is not what I expect from a four-star hotel, even in Albania. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Fijn verblijf voor bezoek Shkoder

Heel centraal gelegen om de stad te bezoeken. Gratis parking.
Lekker ontbijt met broodjes die belegd zijn.

Escolha justa.
Pros:

Dono muito atencioso, nos ajudou até com busca de passeios, que foram ótimos. Há uma área grande de restaurante, mas bem simples. O hotel é muito perto do acesso às áreas de restaurante. Me pareceu seguro caminhar na região.

Cons:

Não me dei conta de que precisava pedir para limpar o quarto e ele acabou não sendo limpo. Os funcionários não falam inglês. São simpáticos, mas precisa de paciência.
