Value for money near The Grand Hotel
Pros:

The Ramp was spotlessly clean and perfectly located for an overnight stay close to the train to Ella.
Walking distance to The Grand Hotel where we popped for some food and a cocktail.
The hosts kindly arranged our transport to the station the following day and even packed up a take away breakfast. So kind.

Prima verzorgd hotel
Pros:

Het was een schoon en verzorgd hotel. Met prima bedden. Het personeel was erg lief en behulpzaam. Zelfs van kamer switchen was geen probleem. En ook een ontbijtpakket stond s'morgensvroeg op tijd klaar zodat we rustig in de trein konden ontbijten.

Convenient option for a one night stay in Nuwara Eliya
Pros:

Perfect for a one night stay coming from the last train from Ella. The hotel arranged pick up from the train station. Good location. Walking distance from a food court. The staff was helpful and arranged taxi to the next location and stop at the tea plantation and waterfall at a reasonable price. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds and bathroom.

Cons:

There is little mold on the walls due to high humidity in the area but room is comfortable.

Cons:

The heating in the room is by a small heater, the bathroom has only a shutter and no window and cold wind comes in. The walls are moldy and damp. The hotel's parking is on a steep slope and very problematic with a large vehicle.

Good hotel for a short stay in town
Pros:

Nice rooms, comfy beds, good location, friendly staff

Cons:

during the night due to a power outrage, strange and loud noise from some electric device / generator? couldn’t sleep , with 4 people you have to hurry while showering because hot water is running low fast

Comfortabel maar wat prijzig
Pros:

Goede ligging, heel lekker ontbijt, zalige bedden, krachtige/warme douche. Tasje thee bij aankomst. Ons ontbijtpakket voor de treinreis was heel uitgebreid.

Cons:

We hadden de kamer op het gelijkvloers naast de receptie en daar was zowel 's morgens als 's avonds lawaai door de medewerkers en de televisie/muziek die stond te spelen.
De elektriciteit viel geregeld uit.
Het is een oké verblijf, maar erg duur tov vergelijkbare verblijven in Sri Lanka.
