Unprofessional, Filthy, and Fraudulent – Avoid This Place!
Our stay here was an absolute disaster and completely ruined our trip. Despite paying the full amount in advance through Booking.com, the staff claimed they were overbooked, blamed the platform, and only "arranged" a room after we pleaded with them. Instead of the private double bedroom with a hall and kitchen that we paid for, they forced us into a 3-bedroom apartment shared with a completely random family. The property itself is just a basic residential building with zero hospitality: the swimming pool was filthy, the bedsheets were covered in stains, and neither the bedroom nor the bathroom doors could be locked or even closed properly, completely compromising our privacy. Additionally, the location is down an incredibly narrow road that is nearly impossible for car access, and they don't serve breakfast until 10:00 AM, which is completely unreasonable when traveling with kids under 10 who cannot wait that long to eat. This place is total garbage, completely misrepresented on this site, and Booking.com needs to investigate their fraudulent room allocation.

3. There was no provision to hang clothes in the room... (No place to keep used clothes...)

Property was really good for the price we paid. The manager and staff were very polite and helpful. One of the best places to stay for a middle-class budget. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was average, but overall everything else was excellent. A very comfortable stay in Pondicherry.
