A really stunning location next to the river, with the Montague Arms at the heart.
Pros:

The room was called Hazel. very clean, a great size for 3, sofa bed for child great. The breakfast was epic. Great, helpful staff. The gardens are stunning. Wanted to stay longer. We will be back for sure. Oh, the walk down to Bucklers Hard was amazing along the river. You cant beat starting a walk from the Montague Arms and ending up at another pub called the Master Builders pub. Whats not to like!

Perfect location, comfortable and clean highly recommend
Pros:

Perfect location, beautiful gardens. Staff helpful and friendly. Dinner in the Terrace Restaurant was absolutely lovely. Fresh produce, lived up to expectations of somewhere special to eat.

Cons:

Lacked a little atmosphere in the bar area which is a little tired but service made up for that

Beautiful period property amazing gardens
Pros:

Beautiful period property with amazing gardens and a gorgeous down stairs area with heaps of character . In a lovely position close to the river . Staff were very helpful and a lovely walk was available close by . The bathroom was very up to date and a good size

Cons:

The bedroom was just very basic with minimal extra touches . It also was very hot but a fan was provided

Amazing hotel and staff
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and approachable. Breakfast had lots of choices, both hot and cold. The Terrace Restaurant was excellent and the food was amazing.

Cons:

Our suite was a little tired looking with some cobwebs in the eaves but it wouldn’t put us off recommending it to others

Pros:

Wonderful feel, classy & dignified. Beautiful room & restaurant next door was good for dinner.

Cons:

Boiler breaking so no hot water. A note under the door would have been a welcome approach as opposed to getting into the shower!

A lovely stay in Beaulieu in a historic hotel. We loved the garden and the warm friendly atmosphere
Pros:

Excellent breakfast included with plenty of choice and good croissants pastel de nate etc

Cons:

The room was a little tired eg bathroom and bedroom carpet but clean and comfortable and conveniently licated

Great place to stay. Lots to do close by. Definitely book again.
Pros:

The restaurant and the food were top notch. Although rather pricey the food was worth it. The gardens were a big surprise, so attractive and well kept. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was classed as "snug" but very comfortable and the bathroom had a bath and a very nice shower. We made a good choice in booking here.

Cons:

We ate in the pub (Monty's) which is attached to the Hotel. We chose steak and veg pies and the meat was tough some of it inedible. Credit to the manager for withdrawing the charge and dealing professionally with the situation but the evening was spoiled.
