Perfect budget accommodation in terrific neighbourhood.
Pros:

From checkin to check out the staff were friendly and patient. The room was comfortable, bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was effective. Cold water is available to refill your water bottle. Located in walking distance to two main train lines, plus a multitude of buses. The proximity to the Mosque makes it easy to navigate to. The area seems really cool with plenty of places to eat, especially Haji Lane.

Cons:

The bathroom was as pictured, but I don’t like shower that wets the bathroom floor. It’s a smalll thing.

A good inexpensive place to stay as a starting point for exploring the area
Pros:

I got what I paid for - inexpensive but provided everything I needed. It is in an interesting part of town, Middle East section by the main Islam (?) temple which I discovered meant that the numerous restaurants nearby didn’t sell alcohol. The aircon was WONDERFUL!!!

Short layover stay
Pros:

The location, close to Lavender Station, close to many restaurants with a great choice of food. The hotel is quite well maintained considering that it's not a new building. The staff was very helpful.

Cons:

The lack of hot water in the shower and sink and also an awkward way the water was flooding the floor around the toilet so after a shower, it was hard to access the toilet because of the puddle around it.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff but cleanliness needs to improve. Bathroom was dirty and there were bed bugs.

Loved the location and the friendly staff with 24 hour reception. Also loved that there was a water tap at reception.

It was dirty. There were marks and hair in the bathroom when we arrived. There were bed bugs.
