Fantastic hotel!
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel, lovely rooms and little extra touches with the goodies and hand written note in the room. Fantastic breakfast and brilliant location too. Will absolutely be back and stay again

Great Bristol Bolt Hole
Pros:

Well decorated and spacious room with all the amenities you require. The complimentary port was a lovely touch.
Great location with the stunning Guildhall opposite.

Luxurious Stay, exceeded expectations
Pros:

Beautifully appointed room with an art deco style - felt like turn-of-the-century luxury with little touches like an old style radio playing soft music in our room on arrival, a handwritten welcome note, treat and tipple, huge room and bathroom, very comfortable and just felt sumptuous. We also ate in the pub and the food and cocktails were delicious. 5 min walk to the Hippodrome where we saw a show. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Bristol.
Pros:

Complimentary port and chocs were a nice touch and as I had booked a room for my son and his new wife, who got married the day before, a lovely note was left in their room, along with flower petals on the bed.

Our room was enormous!

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Godt personale, lækker stil og god beliggenhed.
Pros:

Personalet var super imødekommende og meget hjælpsomme. Det var også vildt lækkert at man ikke kunne hører støjen fra pubben oppe på værelserne :D Stilen var lækker!

Cons:

Altså nu er det jo en præference, men jeg synes simpelthen dobbeltdyner er besværlige. Så ud over den godt måtte have været lidt større, så var der ikke en finger at sætte på opholdet.
Der lugtede måske lidt meget af fisk nede i pubben, så ikke super lækkert når man ankommer, men det kan man ikke lugte oppe på værelserne.

Lovely old pub with hotel in historic heart of Bristol
Pros:

Extremely comfortable bed. Room was good to sleep in, dark and surprisingly noise-free. Excellent, easy-to-use climate control/AC system. Charming old pub downstairs. Super convenient location in historical Center, on a quiet lane in a neighborhood bursting with restaurants and close to the harbor. Generally, really nice staff--the first day, one of them helped us with restaurant recommendations and ended up giving us a great tip.

Cons:

Something going on with the kitchen--our breakfasts were very well-cooked, but the first morning we were there "supplier problems"knocked half the items off the menu, and the last day the coffee machine was being "serviced,"hence no coffee(not that acquiring caffeine is a problem in Bristol--the place is Indie café heaven.) Also, their pub/restaurant area would be more enticing if most of the tables weren't high-top. Finally, don't see why they couldn't run to a luggage rack in the bedrooms.

Hort’s was an art deco dream. The room was beautifully decorated and big enough to stretch out in.

Not worth my money
Pros:

Fine location, spacious room.

Cons:

This hotel was not worth my money. The air quality in the restaurant and in the hallways was extremely poor and so was it in our room where the windows were neither transparent nor able to open very much - probably due to safety, but with the consequence that the air got all poor and felt so dusty that it caused minor allergic reactions for both of us (fortunately not or son). Also, coffee was not an option at breakfast one morning, and another morning half of the breakfast menu was not possible for order. Also something super weird that happened every day was that our used towels (not left on the floor but hanging up to dry) were just put back in place as if they were new and clean. Staff was not proactive at all and seemed not to care about neither guests nor their service. Find somewhere else to stay if you’re visiting Bristol, I’m sure there are other better hotels at the same price.

Good all round value in a central location.
Pros:

Fantastic all round service from check-in, my room, my evening meal, my breakfast, could not fault anything. Would be happy to stay here again. All the staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The hand held shower attachment had no pressure.
