Horts was a great choice, perfect location and great atmosphere.
Pros:

The food and staff at Horts Townhouse are outstanding. The staff are friendly and down to earth. The breakfast sublime. I ordered too much on the first morning (just because it was all so delicious). We also had dinner there and the local regional food is just great. We had fresh local asparagus in season.

Comfortable, stylish stay
Pros:

Lovely decor, clean room, comfortable bed - staff dropped our bag in our room as we were late for a wedding - great service

Cons:

The wait for breakfast was a little long as they were short staffed but it was tasty when it arrived

Beautiful hotel, with lovely touches and great location!
Pros:

Lovely hotel, excellent location. Breakfast wasn't great but the staff were lovely and attentive 😊

Cons:

Poached eggs were hard and coffees took ages to arrive!

Pub with very nice rooms
Pros:

The rooms were very nice, great shower, comfy beds, well stocked mini bar, lovely shower gel and products.

Cons:

It's a pub with good rooms so not your usual Mr & Mrs Smith hotel. No dedicated residents space. Outside space was dirty with glasses rarely collected, full.ashtrays etc. Breakfast was average, poached eggs overcooked, staff nonchalant. Usually stay at Hotel du Vin but thought I'd give this a try. Probably go back to Hotel du Vin where if feels a bit more exclusive and not just a Youngs pub with nice rooms

Pros:

Location was good and central to most things we were there for. Staff were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable of area and more than willing to help. Rooms were impeccable decorated with all facilities you'll ever need. The complimentary port and honeycomb was a lovely welcome.

Cons:

Room was warm even with air conditioning on but still bearable

Perfect accommodation in the centre of Bristol with unbelievably comfy bed, super helpful staff and a breakfast of champ
Pros:

Wow, WHAT a find!! Stunning townhouse, super modern and stunning rooms that are really spacious, amazingly helpful staff…just 10/10 really.

Cons:

There’s nothing not to like.

Lovely staff, rooms look pretty but basics not up to standard
Pros:

Good location, very inviting, lovely decor. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

We were given a room with a jack and Jill door that was locked, however we could hear the next door like they were in the room with us.
It was an accessible room, but the wet room flooded into the bedroom, and didn’t drain so had to have shoes on to go in the bathroom post shower.
Unfortunately they couldn’t move us as the hotel was full, but they did provide some drinks and breakfast. I would have preferred to have stayed elsewhere though, as the room did not feel private.

Chic boutique central hotel !
Pros:

Very good location, central and easily accessible. Having visited two hotels on the same street it was the most expensive and although beautifully presented and with excellent staff the television didn’t work and there was no ‘ordinary’ milk. The hotel is more unique though ! Radio on to welcome you, loo lights up when you open the bathroom door, treats when you get back to the room … all fab !
