A beautiful house in a picturesque settings. The staff and a wonderful company and superb at their jobs.
Pros:

A classic Georgian country house. Many of the original features still existing.

Cons:

House is located a little bit out of town. If you need anything, you will definitely need a car.

Like going back in time. Very elegant with drawing rooms and gorgeous dining room. Made to feel very special .
Pros:

Wonderful country home full of antiques and lots of things to admire. So much history Fresh flowers everywhere. Staff were wonderful Sat in the drawing room prior to dinner and enjoyed a drink and looked at the menu. We were escorted to the dining room and enjoyed excellent service Food all locally sourced and organic . Very delicious. This property is pastoral and out on a huge acreage But we drove easily to the Glenveagh Castle. Could easily have spent two to three hours there. A lot of history as well and beautiful gardens there Bathroom at the hotel was all modernized and had a wonderful bathtub! And bed was comfort personified

Ein herrlich am See gelegenes familiengeführtes Landhaus, in dem wir sehr freundlich empfangen wurden. Herrliches Ambiente, man fühlt sich sofort in die Zeit von Jane Austen zurückversetzt. Frühstück hervorragend. Große, weitläufige Anlage.

Cons:

Ein, zwei Steckdosen mehr oder gar ein USB-Anschluss im Zimmer wären ganz nett gewesen.

Pros:

The room was fantastic as an old house I did'nt expect to have such a modern beautiful bathroom with big bath and seperate rain shower. We had dinner there on evening we arrived and things could'ent of been better the athmosphere and staff were exceptional all very jolly and welcoming. without doubt the food was exquisite ,I had the scallops to start and it was yummy duck main course cooked perfectly breads were beautiful as were deserts, lovely fresh cooked breakfasts as well. Overall I give this accomodation a10 out 0f 10

A cosy, friendly and memorable stay
Pros:

Fabulous ambiance . Truly old world and a total escape from pressures of modern living. A very clean and comfortable bedroom including the mattress. It was beside Lough Swilly in a beautiful wooded setting.

Cons:

Everything was nice but the food could be elevated with a little thought. Overall great value for money
