Hotel Plaza Yara

The best part of this hotel is the staff and the customer service they provide. Check in was easy and staff members knew my name right away. Anything I asked for they assisted me. The breakfast they provided is excellent. The one morning I had to leave before breakfast was served, they made sure a fruit basket was sent to my room the evening before so I had something to eat in the morning. The view from my room as beautiful and peaceful. After a full day of hiking, it was nice to relax in the pool.

Room is huge, and very clean..it even comes with a mini bar with a small fridge, coffee maker and a microwave.Breakfast was excellent..crew was very helpful esp Caleb

Plaza Yara was a pleasant surprise for me. I didn't know what to expect. I know the pictures showed the jungle RIGHT THERE but I didn't believe it could actually be that way but it was. You could swim to the edge of the jungle. We saw and heard so many animals while there! Aras fly above the hotel every morning. People could hear howlers multiple mornings. I got to see a could of Agoutis in the morning. It truly pays off to get up at 5 or 5:30 am to go sit by the pool or the STUNNING courtyard with couches that you can watch the jungle from.

The staff were super nice. All the receptionists very helpful, the breakfast staff were so personable and friendly, and there was a security guard watching over the property all night that made us feel super safe.
There were also the unpaid staff - adorable reception dogs that did the best job greeting guests and a lovely hotel cat that had us wrapped around her little paw.

We got super lucky and got put in the largest room they had, so we can't really say how the regular rooms are, but the room for 4 people was great! So much space for all our things, a small kitchenette a spacious bathroom and direct access to the pool deck. We loved the positioning of the A/C, it as far enough from the beds that we could keep it on all night and not have it blowing on us.
We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of bugs.
There's plenty of parking in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was really good. Portions more than large enough and very tasty. As I mentioned, the staff were really nice.
We also really liked the other guests. Very friendly.

It's a great place to stay if you want to explore Manuel Antonio, Uvita, Nauyaca... If you go to Manuel Antonio I highly recommend George the guide 10/10 service.

I would recommend going to Quepos to eat. We loved L'Angolo. It's weird to eat italian food in CR but it was delicious! We also enjoyed Soda Sanchez, it's a bit touristy but the food was good.

Habitación amplia y muy bien las camas. La piscina agua cristalina.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza Yara! The hotel and rooms were beautiful, with amazing views and exceptionally clean accommodations. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do in the Manuel Antonio area.

A special thank you to Muriel, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Since we didn’t have time to sit down for breakfast each morning, he made sure we had a delicious breakfast to go every day. His friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to help truly made a difference.

We highly recommend Hotel Plaza Yara and would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Costa Rica.

Trato muy amable de todo el personal, instalaciones, relación precio-calidad... Un acierto en Costa Rica.

Very cute boutique hotel with giant rooms and private patios. The staff was excellent. The location is perfect with a car, and I think public transportation is convenient to the hotel if needed. We felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel.

Wahnsinnig tolles Zimmer. Wir hatten die Suite Varadero und waren von der Größe schlicht erschlagen. Privater Poolzugang und eigene Terasse, zwei große Doppelbetten, schöne Dusche und kleine Küchenzeile. Es war einfach fantastisch.

Het personeel was zo vriendelijk, de kamers zijn bijzonder groot.En het zwembad was heerlijk, wij zouden hier 3 nachten verblijven vonden het zo heerlijk dat we 2 dagen langer gebleven waren.We hadden een kamer direct aan het zwembad dat was wel ern extra verassing. Het hotel zit aan een drukke weg daar merk je weinig van,auto kan veilig voor de deur staan.Goede tips gekregen van restaurants in de buurt.En naar Manuel Antonio,Uvita en de Nauyaca waterval goed aan te rijden, wij hebben genoten.

Breakfast was excellent. Shower was superb and bed comfy.

Muy fácil de encontrar. Muy cómodo, limpio y con las instalaciones impecables. Lo recomiendo!!

Todo. Es mi tercera estadía en el hotel y de seguro volveré.
