Brilliant location, car parking close to hotel, staff amazing, very polite and very knowledgeable about points of intrest in the area. Room beautiful, comfy bed, resturant lovely, food beautiful for both evening meal and breakfast, would definatly reccomend and stay again 10/10 👌👌👌

Hotel and restaurant and bar were stylish and quite upmarket. However the room we were in was very tired and needs updating. The bed was poor quality as was the furniture.

Booked larger room with bath and rear view
Got a very oddly shaped , road facing room which was increadibly noisy.reached by very steep very narrow stairs. Headboard loose, shower (not bath) up steps which made it dangerous when wet and there was a mirror in the room but no light by it? Also no bedside table one side due to proximity to door.
The location was really good. The staff & the food was good but the room was a huge disappointment. There were 3 of us & only 5 coat hangers, absolutely no storage . No cupboard, no drawers no storage in bathroom so we had all our toiletries on windowsills,there was not one hook to hang towels on so we had wet towels either on the floor or the bed. Maintenance needs looking at as toilet roll holder was hanging off & mirror above sink wasnt secure. The window blinds had such short cords on we had to stand on a chair to open & close do this is a huge health & safety issue. The only good thing about the room was that it was clean & 2 nights was certainly a long enough stay

The breakfast was nice.
Instructions on where to park were confusing. The room didn’t have any curtains and it was really noisy. Room 7 fronted a busy road and bus stop.
We found the room to be comfortable but very small.
The big plus for this hotel was the customer service. I called previous to arrival to ask for an early check in and the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful and pleasant.

Had a lot of history and location was easy to find with ample parking

The access to the bedrooms and the bedroom itself was very small and felt cramped for 2 people
Liked the hotel. Good restaurant although felt was expensive compared to some top restaurants like Miller and carter got a steak.
