Le frigo puait, mais vraiment. Il y avait une odeur absoluement nauséabonde, dès qu’on l’ouvrait, ça sentait dans toute la cuisine. C’est vraiment long avant que l’eau change de température, j’ai même cru que l’appartement n’avait pas d’eau chaude (j’ai attendu un bon 5 min pour laver ma vaisselle et l’eau était toujours pas chaude), les finitions de travaux sont un peu bâclé, les portes vitrés cachent bien les visages, mais pas les silhouettes, j’aimais que les lumières soient automatiques, mais voir la lumière s’allumer à cause de la vitre dès que quelqu’un allait au toilette la nuit était désagréable. Notre fenêtre de chambre donnait sur la rue Hochelaga et on entendait tout c’était mal isolé (dans l’appart c’était relativement correct et bien isolé). C’est très bien qu’il y ai un robot ménager intelligent, mais qui fonctionne pendant la nuit alors qu’il cognait dans la porte de quelqu’un, assez désagréable. Il faisait très humides dans les espaces communs et il n’y avait pas de savons dans la salle de bain. Je n’écris pas tout ça pour dénigrer l’établissement, même que je vous le recommande et je pourrais y retourner éventuellement, mais ce serait des points à améliorer !

The place was a bit far from the subway (but you can check that before you book obviously), but if you dont mind walking its not that bad!

The temperature in the kitchen, common area and shared bathroom was a little uncomfortable, reaching 33 C. It would probably be good to somehow additionally close the roof of the house, since the apartment is on the second-to-last floor and the sun heats the ceiling so much that the air conditioners cannot cope. By the way, there were no problems in the room with air conditioning.

Do not stay here under any circumstances if safety and basic support from the host matter to you.
We stayed for one night and the experience was extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The internet did not work despite the listing advertising “high speed internet”. An air conditioner made a loud noise, released smoke, and left the common area smelling strongly of smoke. The property became very hot, the fan in one room stopped working, and there was no hot water at night or the next morning.
However, the worst part was not only the broken facilities, but the complete lack of care from the host. When we raised these issues, no serious effort was made to resolve them or make us feel safe or comfortable. Instead, we were told “it’s all very unfortunate” and “you can figure it out though I have no doubt about it”, followed by an inappropriate emoji.
The area also felt extremely unsafe for visitors. We parked legally on the street as instructed, and a member of our group was verbally abused by nearby residents. They yelled at her, questioned why we were there because of our Ontario licence plates, and came so close that she feared she may be physically hit. This completely ruined our evening and made us feel unsafe returning to the property.
When we later raised our concerns again, the host sent an incredibly offensive message saying they did not want to “waste time” and suggested a “mental institution” may be better suited for us.
This was one of the worst experiences we have had. The property had multiple serious issues, the host was dismissive and insulting, and the surrounding area did not feel safe at all as visitors from outside Quebec. I strongly recommend avoiding this accommodation.

Je déconseille fortement ce logement aux familles. L’appartement est divisé en plusieurs petites chambres louées à différents occupants, très proches les unes des autres, avec une salle de bain commune. L’intimité est pratiquement inexistante.

Nous avons également vécu un moment très désagréable lorsque le gérant, qui réside lui-même dans l’une des chambres, est passé en caleçon alors que nous étions en train de souper avec nos enfants. Cette situation nous a mis très mal à l’aise.

Dans l’ensemble, le logement ne correspond pas à ce que nous recherchions pour un séjour familial et nous ne le recommandons pas aux familles avec enfants.

Let me paint you a picture of my absolute disaster of a stay at this glorified cave: I booked for 2 nights, paid in full, showed up with reasonable expectations (electricity, perhaps?), and left after Day 1 like a refugee fleeing a sinking ship.

The unit had NO POWER. Not a flicker. Not a dim glow. Complete, total, pitch-black darkness — because apparently functioning electrical wiring is considered a "premium upgrade" here. I couldn't shower properly, couldn't charge my phone, couldn't see my hand in front of my face. This is not a hotel stay. This is a camping trip I did NOT sign up for.

The host? Completely unreachable. Ghost mode activated. I called, texted, probably sent smoke signals — nothing. Zero. Silence louder than the darkness in that room.

When this clown FINALLY surfaced, instead of a single syllable of apology or any attempt to fix the disaster HE rented me, he had the sheer audacity — the UNHINGED NERVE — to blame ME. Apparently, turning on the AC (a unit HE provided, in a building HE manages) caused a "fuse to blow up." So according to this genius, the GUEST is responsible for his building's catastrophically inadequate electrical infrastructure. Absolutely jaw-dropping logic.

So let me get this straight: I paid for a fully-functioning unit, got a dark box, was abandoned by the host, forced to find and pay for a SECOND hotel out of my own pocket, got blamed for HIS broken property, and — the cherry on top of this catastrophe sundae — HE HAS STILL NOT REFUNDED ME FOR THE NIGHT I DID NOT STAY.

This is not just bad hospitality. This is theft dressed up in a listing with nice photos.

Do yourself a favour and book literally anywhere else. A park bench has better infrastructure and the squirrels won't bill you for it.

Escalera de entrada muy empinada,cama para 2 personas creo que era de 1'20, bastante blanda...incómoda para 2 personas.parece que wifi solo era en la cocina -comedor y no siempre...solo un baño,por lo tanto incómodo...
