I booked a non-smoking room as I'm not a smoker and against those who smoke. My partner went outside of the hotel whenever she wanted to smoke knowing that I wont allow her in the room. The night before leaving (Friday) it was raining and she did not throw the butts she smoked and I told her to throw the cup in the dustbin. We checked out Saturday at 7am and the room was checked before the deposit was refunded, The call from the staff was the room was ok - no mention of cigarette odor in the room. Upon arriving in Jakarta, I received calls after calls which I did not entertain and only read their whatsapp msg saying RM100 will be charged to the system as apparently we smoked in the room as they took a photo of the cup. I refuted this claim and have photographic proof of my partner smoking outside their hotel. To this, no reply from the hotel.
I recommend that proper checks are made before the deposit is released and not claim otherwise later.

a) bad accommodations
b) cocroaches in the toilet
c) unstable airconditioner
d) improper raid by JAWI

Dieses Hotel war mit Abstand die schlechteste Unterkunft, in der ich je übernachtet habe. Ich kann absolut nicht nachvollziehen, wie dieses Hotel positive Bewertungen erhalten hat.

Das Zimmer war extrem feucht und verfügte weder über ein Fenster noch über eine vernünftige Belüftung. Aufgrund der winzigen Zimmergröße war die Klimaanlage kaum nutzbar, da sie direkt auf das Bett gerichtet war. Die Luft war stickig und an erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Zusätzlich war mein Zimmer durch eine Innentür mit dem Nachbarzimmer verbunden, sodass ich jedes Gespräch, jeden Wecker und jede Bewegung hören konnte.

Auch die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig. Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden nur alle drei Tage gewechselt, was für ein Hotel völlig unzureichend ist. Der Boden wurden während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht einmal gewischt. Besonders schockierend waren die freiliegenden Stromkabel in der Dusche – ein gravierender Sicherheitsmangel, der Gäste ernsthaft gefährden kann.

Der Service war ebenso enttäuschend. Beschwerden wurden ignoriert oder abgewiesen, und selbst die Nutzung des Hoteltelefons wurde mir verweigert. Als Krönung wurden mir beim Check-out noch 20 MYR für einen winzigen Fleck auf der Bettdecke berechnet – ein Verhalten, das ich als reine Abzocke empfunden habe.

Wer Wert auf Komfort, Sauberkeit, Sicherheit und kundenfreundlichen Service legt, sollte dieses Hotel meiden. Für mich war dieser Aufenthalt eine große Enttäuschung und ich werde definitiv nie wieder hier buchen.
