Lovely building
The double bed was not accessible one side
Staff during day and eve lovely
Breakfast was horrible cold and had to ask for bread as the bread that was out for toast had mould on it person serving seemed like she didn't want to there
The location, just off the A303 and adjacent to the pub, makes this a great stop-off. The staff were really helpful, and accommodating for our late arrival. The room included everything we needed for a night's stay, and the pub is really cosy and inviting.,
There were signs of damage in the room, with half the shower screen missing. Reported to the property, but only stayed for one night. Some noise from other rooms.
The pub was very nicely designed
The accommodation was very poor , twin room tiny. Barely a single in size. No where to hang clothes . No bedside tables or anywhere to put things. No where to hang towels wet or dry. Very dated.
Friendly staff, good food locally sourced, good shower, nice quiet location excellent for dog-walking, comfortable bed
Shower had no privacy & only 1/2 screen so water came out onto the room carpet. For what we paid it would have been nice to have the bin emptied, the bed remade and shower toiletries & tea, coffee and milk sachets replenished. I accept the pub was closed on our middle day so maybe this was the reason. The TV was very small so trying to read TV guide from the bed was very difficult and there was evidence of damp in the shower ceiling & a patch of wall where a repair had been done but not painted over
Dog friendly pub/rooms, renovated to a very high standard, comfortable.
Only one hour window for breakfast (8.30-9.30). Manager was nice but I got the vibe that they wanted to get the bar closed by 9.30–10pm which was disappointing.
Friendly staff, good food.
Week located for our needs. Lovely pub, decent food.
Room was compact, and for £120 for a night I’d expect at least someone to hang some clothes. Was fine for a flying visit on way to somewhere else but was very small. Food was good, but surcharge of £3 per £18 pizza if you wanted gluten free seemed a bit unnecessary.
The attached pub is lovely and good location.
The room was very small and quite dated. The shower was within the room.
The room was small, with the shower actually in the room which made it very difficult to avoiding making the bedroom floor very wet. Dinner was a disaster from beginning to end, with poorly informed staff and a chef with limited ability.
Nice location of a village, food especially pizza was good
Small room and very hot inside the room, shower is in the bedroom too and in general room is very small
Complementary still & sparkling water by
Very nice difference..
The shower were awkward with the door folding.. would be be more secure towel hanging kept falling off and no where to hang wet towels..
