Por razones de conservación ambiental, no se permite el ingreso de mascotas en nuestras sedes Soy Local Islawa y Soy Local Barú. Al estar ubicadas en una isla, tenemos el compromiso de proteger la flora y fauna local, asegurando el equilibrio del ecosistema. Agradecemos su comprensión y apoyo en esta importante misión.

Acceso y Permanencia
Se permite el ingreso de mascotas únicamente en las áreas designadas.
Las mascotas deben estar bajo supervisión constante de sus dueños y no pueden quedarse solas en las habitaciones o áreas comunes.
Comportamiento y Control
Los dueños son responsables de que sus mascotas no perturben a otros huéspedes con ruidos, comportamientos agresivos o similares.
Las mascotas deben estar siempre con correa en las áreas comunes del hotel.
Higiene y Limpieza
Por favor, recoja los desechos de su mascota de inmediato y disponga de ellos en los lugares asignados.
No se permite que las mascotas suban a camas, sofás u otros muebles.
Tamaño y Cantidad
Por motivos de espacio y seguridad, solo se aceptan mascotas de tamaño mediano o pequeño, salvo previa autorización del hotel.
Se permite un máximo de una mascota por habitación, salvo excepciones autorizadas.
Responsabilidad del Dueño
Los dueños son responsables de cualquier daño o limpieza adicional que sea necesaria debido a la presencia de su mascota.

Es obligatorio presentar el carné de vacunación actualizado de la mascota al momento del check-in.

🛏️ Limpieza especial de lencería – Si se evidencia que la mascota estuvo sobre la cama o sofás. $100.000 COP
🧼 Limpieza profunda de tapetes – En caso de deposiciones u orines. $200.000 COP
❌ Daño total de lencería por rasgaduras – Si la ropa de cama resulta irreparable. $400.000 COP
Notas importantes
Si alguna regla es incumplida o si la presencia de la mascota genera molestias graves, el hotel se reserva el derecho de solicitar el retiro de la mascota de las instalaciones, sin que esto implique la devolución del valor pagado por su estadía.

The staff was really good and they were very attentive to our needs. The rooms were very nice and clean, the food is also very good.
The transportation coordination and tariffs are not clear at all, the staff is also confused by this and the administration always looks to upcharge for this. We had to leave a night before because the hotel administration wanted to charge a lot for our transportation at off hours and wouldn’t let us negotiate with the transport company either, very uncomfortable and dissapponted by this, again this is by no means the staff’s responsibility, they were very helpful at all times and just communicating what they were told.

Un sitio excepcional, muy respetuoso con el medio ambiente integrado al entorno natural. Tiene todas las comodidades para vivir una maravillosa experiencia. Las atenciones de su personal son increíbles, amables y muy atentos a todo detalle, la comida deliciosa. Es limpio y tiene buenas instalaciones.
1) Tienen un empleado que atiende con un notorio mal humor.
2) Te cobran muy caro para servirte el peor café de toda Colombia (sello rojo, es un espanto).
3) Los muchachos que te ofrecen la moto de agua se meten hasta al lado del muelle donde hay gente nadando, puede terminar en tragedia.
4) El ingreso a la habitación es muy tarde y nos dejaron las maletas en el suelo, ni siquiera las guardaron mientras.
5) Con todos estos errores el precio es carísimo, la próxima elijo otra opción.
La atención es muy buena por parte de todo el personal, incluso el chef Jhon nos atendió personalmente. Rosa, Alberto, Beatriz y todo el personal fue muy amable y servicial.

Todo me gustó un lugar muy lindo
La desconexión y paz que se siente en el lugar is inigualable. La atención de Juan y Diego que manejan los tours que vale decir son privados y super personalizados es algo a destacar.
Que la habitación no esté lista cuando llegamos. Ya que el hotel estaba vacío prácticamente y sabían de antemano a qué hora llegábamos.
Un lugar muy tranquilo, perfecto para descansar, alejarse del ruido y el turismo tradicional ! La atención del personal excelente en especial la de Alberto y Rosa !
En realidad todo nos gusto! La zona para bañarse es un poco rocosa, tenerlo en cuenta y llevar zapatos de playa.

Der Transfer mit dem Boot hat super geklappt. Die Insel und das Zimmer sind wunderschön.
Das Essen wirklich sehr gut. Wir mussten nicht lange aufs Essen warten.
Wir haben kostenlos das Kayak geliehen und konnten die Gegend erkunden.
Die Fenster sind aus Holz und bei Wind kann es etwas laut werden. Man befindet sich jedoch auf einer Insel, wo das Meer direkt unter einem rauscht - wer also absolute Stille erwartet, sollte einen Inselaufenthalt evtl überdenken.
Ein ganz großer Dank geht an Alberto, er hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert (ich war gesundheitlich ein wenig angeschlagen und er hat alles gegeben, um mich schnell wieder fit zu bekommen).
Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft um zu entspannen.
Nur Dinge, für die das Hotel nichts kann ;-)
Die Jetskifahrer nerven ein bisschen, da sie täglich mehrfach vorbeifahren und das Jetskifahren anbieten.
An sich ist der Weg nach Baru und besonders der „Hafen“ gewöhnungsbedürftig.

La pieza del hotel. El baño estaba tapado, pero era limpio y nuevo.

Horrible experience from start to finish. The place is overpriced, poorly maintained, and run in a way that feels both careless and shady. Considering the amount we paid and the fact they use a private driver, you still need to pay an extortionate taxi fee where bags get launched into an open back pickup truck and get thrown around the whole journey, then you’re taken to a tiny dock where a boat waits for you. This boat was not there for us and we waited 20 minutes in an area completely unknown to us which made us feel seriously uneasy. The room was dirty—bugs everywhere, stained sheets—and when we raised it, they changed it into more dirty sheets which we decided to just accept, for which there was no apology.The food is massively overpriced for what it is: a limited, low quality menu where most options are just pizza or pasta, all charged at ridiculous prices (and that’s coming from people used to London prices). You’re essentially forced to pay because there are no alternatives. The setup itself is unacceptable. The so-called air conditioning is useless because the windows are just shutters that don’t properly close, meaning insects, birds, and even cockroaches and lizards can get into your room freely—which they did.Worse, staff disappear completely overnight (from around 8pm to 7am) and are unreachable—their phone is switched off. On a remote, man-made island that’s only accessible by the property’s private boat, that’s not just inconvenient, it’s unsafe.We ended up leaving a day early. My girlfriend became ill overnight, and with no way to contact staff or leave the island, the situation felt genuinely risky. Beyond that, the whole place just has an uncomfortable, off vibe. Despite all this, they still added a service charge for our stay. This was the only negative experience in nearly three weeks in Colombia, and it was bad enough that we would strongly advise others to avoid it.
It was a beautiful location, great rooms, very comfortable and strategically designed.
Towels availability was an issue. They only have us bath towels and getting beach towels was very complicated. Also, they promote free use of kayaks and paddle boards but they were in very poor shape. Lastly, food takes very long time. We once waited 1 hour for breakfast.
