Disgusting
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

I would like to formally complain about the way my husband was treated at the hotel on 15 September 2026.

The original reservation was made in my name for myself and our two children. When we arrived at the hotel, a female receptionist informed us that my husband was not allowed to enter our room because his name was not included in the reservation.

We explained that my husband was not planning to stay overnight or be accommodated in the room. His flight was due to depart shortly afterwards. He only wanted to accompany us, help us take our luggage to the room, take a shower, and then wait in the lounge until it was time for his flight. He was also willing to provide his identification documents and comply with any necessary registration requirements.

Nevertheless, the receptionist did not even allow my husband to go upstairs to help us with our luggage. We were told that nobody other than myself and our two children was allowed to enter the room.

As a result, my husband was forced to pay for a separate room for approximately two hours solely because he was not allowed to enter our room and spend some time with his family.

The payment is confirmed by the attached receipt:

Port Selene Otel
Date: 15 September 2026
Receipt No.: 0007
Total amount: 2,913.48 TRY

The receipt shows accommodation charges of 2,887.23 TRY plus 26.25 TRY in tax, for a total of 2,913.48 TRY.

This additional room was completely unnecessary and was not intended for an overnight stay. My husband’s flight ticket and the taxi we had booked for approximately 23:00 confirm that he was due to leave shortly afterwards. He simply wanted to accompany his wife and our two young children, help us with our luggage, and spend a little time with us before his flight.

We specifically asked the receptionist to show us the particular legal provision that prohibited my husband from entering our room. We were told that this was a general Turkish law applicable throughout Turkey.

Fiyat-Performans diyelim
Pros:

Personelin yaklaşımı ve genel olarak temizlik vs iyiydi. Otel yeni olduğu için gayet temiz ve problemsizdi genel olarak.

Cons:

Ekstra olduğu için kahvaltıyı otelde yapmadık. Kahvaltı daha ucuz olabilirdi; ücretliymiş.

Clean place close to the airport with helpful staff
Pros:

The hotel is around 12 minutes to airport
The staff were very helpful and could speak English well. the night shift was very accommodating for our midnight check-in at 2:30 am.
The morning shift also very helpful and called us a taxi and helped with food options and bus routes.
The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The room didn't have slippers and toothpaste and after requesting it, they said they didn't have any more left but can give them to us in the morning. I think that was the only downside, but it is understandable considering our very late check-in.

Pros:

Nice hotel with very friendly personnel

Cons:

You can get no type of lunch or food at the hotel and it is far from restaurants. At least a sandwich would be quite easy to offer and nice to have. In addition, there were sand on the sheets in my bed (otherwise they seemed clean), but I was bitten by a bug in my leg when I was in bed, so there was some kind of insect in the sheets.

Overall good hotel close to the beach, spotlessly clean, but quite small room
Pros:

The hotel is located in a quiet area within a few minutes walking distance to the beach promenade and the shops at the main road. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was very good - powerful and silent. There was a fridge and a kettle with some instant coffee and tea. The room was spotlessly clean and the towels were of good quality. There was daily maid service offered. The male receptionist was always friendly and helpful. And Gazipasa is an unexpectedly nice laid back town with an amazing landscape nearby!

Cons:

The room and the bathroom were quite small. There are no bed lights, only one main light in the room. The bathroom smelled of sewage, which was very intense from time to time, so that even the room smelled. There's a bird nest in an empty roller shutter box right above the balcony door with several birds inside. The noise wasn't too annoying, however I wonder why they don't remove it and seal the empty space.

Маленький тихий готель для родинного відпочинку
Pros:

Cons:

Сантехнику та матеріали краще б купували більш якісні)).

Comfortable stay near the sea
Pros:

Port Selene is a very comfortable little oasis near the sea. The room felt like a little apartment and had everything you could need: strong air conditioning, kitchenette, washing machine, comfortable couches. They also had a pack n' play crib for our toddler! Service was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was all you could want from a classic Turkish breakfast. Highly recommend!
