Jeg kunne ikke få lov til, at køre med shuttle bussen senere på dagen da jeg valgte at tage i lufthavnen.
Da vi ikke måtte drikke vandet på grund af bakterier stillede personalet ikke op med vand. Jeg startede selv op med at købe men på et tidspunkt slap det op. Der var mangelfulde opslag ang. At vandet ikke kunne drikkes.

I found this hotel overall to be a great option for me. I liked that it was very walkable to everything but a little off the main drag and therefore quieter. I asked for a quiet room and the staff did try to accommodate that; I heard some noise from nearby guests occasionally, but it was not bad. I also liked that the hotel is right next to/affiliated with Albatros, who led some good tours I did. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the free hotel shuttle ran frequently and reliably. My room was comfortable and fairly spacious with a good shower (not always a given). The balcony is shared across the whole floor (wrap-around balcony) but if you want more privacy while still getting air, you can keep your door closed and open a small window. (The room was warm so I did want some air.) The wifi was occasionally bad but mostly quite reliable and I was able to take one video meeting without problem. The quality of the breakfast was pretty good. I had their buffet dinner one night and it had a lot of options (numerous meat and fish/seafood choices) so it's great for variety. The hotel was quite expensive compared to similar hotels of the same quality in almost all other parts of the world, but this is standard for Greenland and to me it was worth it. My room faced the city but the view from the dining room over the water is lovely. I'd stay again if back in Ilulissat.
The breakfast had a lot of options but they were the same every morning and I would've loved a little variety (such as eggs different ways, etc.)
The well-reviewed Greenlandic buffet dinner had a lot of variety but not a lot of flavor, and it had quite few and unappetizing veggie dishes, so I wouldn't do it again; I had multiple better dinners in Ilulissat.
I agree with other reviewers' annoyance that the double bed was just two singles pushed together, which means there is a huge dip in between them and you can't sleep in the middle or spread out across both without falling between them. I recommend the hotel get the types of inserts that can connect two beds seamlessly.
I don't mind stairs at all, but travelers with mobility challenges will want to to note the lack of elevator.
Fantastic location with great views. Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Clean good sized rooms. Restaurant food in evening was excellent. - not cheap, but fairly priced.with attentive helpful service. Good choice at breakfast. Shuttle service was useful for airport trip.
More non-meat hot options at breakfast would be good eg baked beans or veggie sausage..
A lift would be a big bonus for carrying luggage up.

The room is comfortable. Views are terrific. Location is best in Ilulissat. Mini kitchen , stove, freezer and fridge was perfect for our stay. Staff very helpful. Loved staying in lower terrace rooms and enjoyed sit t ingredients outside every evening until 11 or so. Restful and peaceful.
I used a sleeping mask for the first time. The rooms could use black out shades since the curtains dont close out all the light...and in summer that means all night. Do not bring large, rolling luggage. Stairway to lower terrace is very difficult The room smells clean, but you do need to get used to the smell of fish in the harbor.
