Was a good stay. Comfortable room with a view of the street.
Pros:

Very clean. Great location in middle of local food shops, coffee shops, restaurants, walking distance to Ipoh parade mall. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommend good place to have breakfast. Bathroom provides handwash instead of soap.

Cons:

YouTube connection switches off on its own. Room not refreshed after one night.

Nice hotel - but staff and hotel policies not really helpful for parents travelling with infants
Pros:

Nice hotel in good location with good eateries around, comfy yet very small double bed in a clean room - water fountain downstairs was helpful.

Cons:

The rooms facing away from the street on the 2nd floor have the full battery of A/Cs mounted at the wall outside so that can be quite noisy.
The most ridiculous “hotel policy” I’ve ever heard: we requested weeks beforehand via message to the hotel to receive a second duvet in our room since we will be having a baby sleeping in the middle of the parents in their own sleeping bag and for safety reasons, they cannot share the duvet with the parents. When we arrived nothing was arranged - the staff on site were totally helpless with my request and I had to speak to the manager 3 times to receive at least a second duvet cover, for an extra charge of 10 MYR. Never had that before and after that - other hotels simply just accommodate for the needs of traveling parents.

The hotel is located in the old town area, with many eateries.

Cons:

I arrived several hours before the check-in time. I was allowed to leave my luggage in the lobby, but there was no guarded space for luggages. It felt unsafe to leave my luggage (without a lock) next to the lift area. Luckily, the counter staff allowed me to leave my luggage behind the counter. Thank you. But it would be better had the hotel a luggage area which is more secure.
