Amazing stay
Pros:

The staff was extremely friendly, nice and helpful. The breakfast was divine. Even though there were few choices then every single one was amazing. The room was luxurious and confortable. The monastery and the church took our breath away. Everyone should see it fron the inside. The park nearby was also really great to walk in, in the evenings.
We also recommend trying the local wines in the restaurant.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a road nearby that in the eveninga got quite busy. This meant that in the evenings when we kept open our window we could hear loud cars accelerating and motorcyclists going by. I know this isn't the accommodations fault, but it was just something that was there.

Pros:

The place is very beautiful and the monastery is exceptional! Breakfast was really delicious and the staff very nice. Standard rooms were very plain and especially bathrooms could have been more nicely decorated (now they didn't really match with the rest of the place with plastic carpets etc.). Nice stay but a bit over-priced.

Disappointing experience and poor value for money
Pros:

The welcome was warm, and the staff members we met were friendly and courteous.

Cons:

We booked this stay and the restaurant several months in advance, mainly to enjoy the four- or six-course gastronomic tasting menu with wine pairing. However, upon arrival, we were told that it required a separate advance reservation and was unavailable on Sundays because the chef was not present. None of this had been communicated to us. Had we known, we would have chosen another date or another hotel.
At breakfast, our children barely touched their food, so we asked the waiter to pack it for us. He agreed but then forgot and threw everything away.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the lack of communication and attention to detail. For a stay costing approximately €400, the experience did not offer good value for money.

Pros:

L'aspect historique du bâtiment, le personnel sympathique, le parking gratuit.

Cons:

Chambres un peu vieillottes et mal insonorisées. SDB petite avec un évier de la taille d'un lave-main. Mais le plus compliqué a été le bruit. L'hôtel a décidé d'organiser des concerts le samedi soir. Heureusement la pluie a mis fin à l'affaire plus tôt que prévu. Et le lendemain, c'est un rassemblement de véhicules avec musique et cris jusqu'à 3h du matin. On avait pris cet hôtel en dehors de la ville pour avoir le calme et c'est tout le contraire qui s'est produit. Literie moyenne. Pas de prises dans la chambre. Enfin, le petit déjeuner est servi sur base d'un menu avec un choix limité. Déception générale.

Beautiful surroundings and a little bit extra for your stay
Pros:

The setup was really nice in an old monastery. The Michelin restaurant came as a surprise as I didn´t check all the info while booking. And this means the breakfast was awesome, but reserve time as it is not a buffet. Rooms were really nice and the beds super comfortable. A couple hundred meters and you´re be the lake where there was nice places to sit and enjoy the view. Staff was professional maybe sometimes a little bit too much.

Cons:

Nothing to add here.

Het hotel was een oud klooster, de kamers waren nog in originele staat. Heel leuk, wel een beetje donker.
Onbijt zeer goed, geen buffet naar a la carte. Het 6 gangen diner was ook zeer goed.

Pros:

Das Hotel ist Teil eines Klosters und in seiner Lage beeindruckend. Man hat direkten Zugang zu einem Spazierweg am Wasser und Badestellen. Es ist ruhig und grün. Die klosteranlage ist direkt daneben und kann besichtigt werden.
Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und "pompös" im Stil des Hauses ausgestattet.
Erwähnenswert ist das Frühstück. Es gibt kein Buffet, sondern man stellt sich ein Menü aus 3 Gängen a la carte zusammen. Serviert wird am Tisch. Alle Speisen waren außergewöhnlich komponiert und sehr fein angerichtet. Das war toll. Die 5 Sterne Küche am Abend haben wir nicht probiert.
Das Personal war professionell freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Man kann bequem im Vorhof parken, bei schönem Wetter draußen sitzen und sich bewirten lassen und im Sommer finden im Hotelhof Konzerte statt. Das Haus bemüht sich sehr, gastfreundlich zu sein.

Cons:

Wenn sich der erste WOW - Eindruck in dieser außergewöhnlichen Immobilie gelegt hat, merkt man, dass das Haus insgesamt doch eher Standard ist. Möbel und Ausstattung sind sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen. In unserem Superior Zimmer gab es nur eine tiefe Wanne mit Handbrause. Duschen war anstrengend. Die Möbel sind eher danach ausgewählt, den Stil des Hauses zu transportieren. Sofa und Sessel waren unproportional groß, man konnte nicht wirklich bequem darauf sitzen.
Es gibt auch kein Hauskeeping.
Uns hat das alles nicht so gestört, wir waren 2 Nächte da und haben das Ambiente genossen. Aber zum gehobenen Anspruch des Hotels (und zum Preis) passt es eher nicht.

Unbedingt zu empfehlen!
Pros:

Klostergebäude, daher aussergewöhnlich. Geräumige Zimmer. Bequemes Bett. Frühstück und Abendessen: beides war etwas ganz besonderes und jeden Cent wert. Ganz große Klasse. Allein wegen des Restaurants lohnt es sich da zu bleiben. Und auf jeden Fall sollte das Kloster und die Kirche besichtigt werden.

Cons:

Der Weg am Kloster wird offenbar nachts von halbstarken möchte-gerne-Rennfahrer mit lauten Motoren genutzt werden. Da sollte echt das Ordnungsamt etwas unternehmen. Aber dafür kann natürlich das Hotel nichts.
