Marco Polo Hotel

La posizione direttamente sulla strada molto trafficata, praticamente un’arteria principale di Corfù, non mi è piaciuto come è tenuto l’hotel nelle parti comuni e le stanze, in una settimana non ci hanno mai cambiato il tappetino del bagno e la pulizia era davvero scarsa, colazione con pochissima scelta

Purtroppo sono stati diversi i problemi riscontrati durante il soggiorno. Già al nostro arrivo abbiamo avuto problemi con la pressione dell'acqua. Il personale ci ha detto che avrebbe provveduto, cosa che abbiamo apprezzato, ma sarebbe stato preferibile essere informate della situazione al momento del check-in.

In bagno non c'era una finestra ed era presente una ventola estremamente rumorosa: il rumore era talmente forte che spesso preferivamo entrare in bagno al buio piuttosto che accenderla. Su questo il personale ci ha spiegato che non poteva intervenire, ma rimane comunque un disagio importante.

Un'altra cosa che ci ha lasciate perplesse è stata la gestione della carta igienica: non era possibile gettarla nel WC e doveva essere buttata nell'apposito cestino. Non abbiamo capito se fosse una caratteristica dell'impianto dell'hotel o una consuetudine più generale dell'isola, ma sarebbe stato sicuramente utile essere informate chiaramente di questa cosa al momento dell'arrivo.

Abbiamo inoltre trovato qualche insetto in camera, anche se riconosciamo che la stanza veniva pulita e sistemata regolarmente.

La colazione, personalmente, non ci ha entusiasmate. Era presente un buffet con alcuni prodotti locali e altri più classici, come pane, burro, fette biscottate, cereali ecc. Il latte veniva preparato al momento dalla signora e c'era anche un tostapane che, seppur un po' malconcio, funzionava. Avremmo semplicemente preferito una maggiore varietà, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la frutta fresca: questo, comunque, può essere anche una questione di gusto personale.

Anche il telecomando del condizionatore funzionava in maniera abbastanza intermittente.

A rendere la situazione ancora meno piacevole è stato l'ultimo giorno, quando ci siamo ritrovate senza acqua calda.

The room is a bit outdated, stuffy and you can feel the wires in the mattress. The rooms on the hotel front are noisy as the hotel faces a busy street/highway.

Didn't like the shower, it doesn't seem to be proper clean as it should. The shower curtain is not very pleasant. Everything else looks very clean and organized.

Mycket trafik, även på natten. Mycket störande!

Terrible position on a main road so really noisy. Staff did not help at all. The lift only accommodates 1 person and 1 suitcase at a time plus it didn't smell very nice at all. The room was tiny and not very welcoming. Bathroom fan really noisy. Very old looking and mouldy shower cubicle. Breakfast was not tested, in fact wasn't trusted. I could go on but its probably the worst place I've ever stayed at. Luckily it was just a place to put our heads down as our flight was delayed until the next day.

Rooms clean but tired, minimal bedding just a sheet.

Je n’ai pas eu accès à internet aux étages, uniquement à la réception et la piscine.

Τ8 ξενοδοχείο είναι υπό κατάρρευση. Οι τοίχοι έχουν υγρασία, το μπανιο απο προπολεμικες εποχές, η μπαλκονοπορτα δεν εκλεινε, φωναξαμε τον ρεσεψιονιστ και ηρθε να μας δείξει το "κόλπο" για νσμα κλείσει. Μέσα στη ντουλάπα είχε ρούχα απο τους προηγούμενους. Γενικώς μια τραγωδία.

Το δωμάτιο πολύ μικρό με στρώματα ύπνου σε κακή κατάσταση συνεχές θόρυβο από δρόμο
Και ή τουαλέτα σε άθλια κατάσταση πολύ στενή με πλαστική κουρτίνα
